area of the 36mp sensor. Then the firmwire read one out of every 18 pixels?
That does not seem very reasonable. What if the width/height of the sensor
pixel array are not exactly integer multiples of 1920/1080?
On the other hand if they use the central 2mp sensor area then the DoF etc
will be all messed up.

disastrous photo details in a 40mp photo. |
