Finding: preliminary scout view of the pevis was normal. A filling defect is
demonstrated in the right uterine cornua approximately 5 mm in the diameter
. There is an extrinsic deformity at the level of the left uterine cornua.
there is prompt opacification of the interstitial isthemic and ampullary
segments of the right fallopian tube. Intravasation of contrast into the
myometrium is also demonstrate at the time of ampullary filling of contrast.
Free peritoneal spill is noted on the right. Incomplete filling of the
fallopian tube on the left was noted. normal drainage of contrast was noted
subsequently.
impression： 1. probale 5 mm polyp or scar at the level of the right uterine
cornua. extrinsic deformity identified at the level of the left uterine
cornua maybe secondary to adjacent scarring, or by a uterine fibroid or
adenomyora. 2. right fallopian tube is patent. the ampullary segment of the
right fallopian tube is mildly dilated. this may indicate a mild
hydrosalpinx. patency of the fallopian tube on the right, however, is
identified. 3. lack of significant opacification of the fallopian tube on
the left. |
