The doctor is happy for the reason that he find your problem.
If you do not trust him, change to another OB.
I will suggest you do it. Then you will have better chance to have baby.
No need to worry about surgery. I had a surgery to remove part of my right
ovary. I still have two smooth pregnancies and two healthy babies.
