I was dreaming to be a country doctor before went to medical school as I
read some idealistic idiot’s book about the life and practice of country
doctors. Students after the first year of medical school could practise at
that time to make money, which I did. I was assigned to a nurse in the OR to
put anesthesia. She put the patient on nitrous oxide, handed the bag over
to me and asked me to watch the patient. Then she left the room! I looked at
the patient and found out that he had no breath! |
