interest you paid last year. This is qualified as tax deductible, assume
this is NOT your investment property.

Actually, I think it was paid to the loan agent as the difference between
the new and the old loan, so that I can skip the mortgage payment for one
month. How can I get any evidence that I actually paid for the interests in
the month the mortage checked was skipped?
Seems to be very complicated. I have refinanced my house for multiple times
, this is the first time I am very sure that I paid one month of interest to
the loan agent, but do not have any evidence that I actually paid for that.

得退税啊? 比如去年下半年才买的房,交的利息总额不超过11400,所以就没得退,是

大家说的是对的。我的case是closing之后lender卖给别的银行,所以之前收到的第二
个银行的1099没有包括prepaid interest。今天又收到第一个银行的1099,列了这部分
interest
所以如果有refiance的,注意查过度月的interest,别漏了任何一家的1099
