而且对于公司有paid sick leave和paid personal day只字不提
但是根据他的休假情况，肯定是自己都休了的
我也是到了年底别人告诉我才知道这个paid sick leave
我决定利用这个paid sick leave和paid personal day＋圣诞回国，但是现在还有没有
通知老板，
我看公司的政策，一般paid sick leave不用特殊处理，但是保留要求病假条的权利
大家看看用什么理由比较合适（回国弄个病假条还是比较容易的）

我OPT在朋友的startup公司挂靠做engineer，offer letter上写的是paid,我也一直在
帮他
干活，然而我根本没有拿到钱，朋友一直在等投资到账。现在快到90天了，朋友说他也
是刚开始做公司，不知道怎么给我搞W2之类的税表，最多可以给我写个personal
paycheck。
我已经在找下一份工作了，但是入职还要一段时间，OPT开始90天之内肯定来不及入职
了。这段时间对绿卡和OPT extension有影响吗？我应该怎么办才能把损失降到最小呢
？如果只是损失点钱还好，就当免费给朋友帮忙了，也算认清一个人了。怕的是对身份
有影响啊

据我了解，在加州，insurance能cover short term disability，也就是4+6（生产前
四后六，或者前4后8，如果c-section的话）。如果想再修up to another 6周的话，就
得使用paid family leave
但是如果工作不满一年，那paid family leave依然可以take，但是就不属于federal
Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) 或 California Family Rights Act (CFRA)，
也就是工作不受保障，employer可以在这期间开除你？
另外如果take pfl的话，即使不满一年，insurance和各种benefit的话还是能保证的吧
？只要公司不开除你？ |

我只用了公司福利中的孩子出生后父亲可以有的一周带薪假，也算是paid family
leave，所以我试试选这一项，结果选上后联邦退税不变，加州州税退税猛然增加了7~8
千。
请问这个情况这么选是正确的吗？ |

第一次买新车 敲定是subaru 2015 forester
车子有3年 36,000mile warranty
dealer然后说“每6000mile要maintenance，然后30000mile的时候保养会很贵，总共到
36,000mile保养要3000多，subaru知道这钱很多所以出了个pre-paid maintenance
agreement总共花$1126+后续买新车$500 discount+$500cover旅游时候车坏了的酒店费
用+还有一个优惠$500，就是号称省钱保养嘛！
小弟回来想了想也问了些朋友感觉新车貌似没必要买这个，基本不会有什么问题。
dealer之前还说7年/100,000,extend warranty,我果断拒了。
请问版上有经验的朋友怎么看，是不是没必要买这个pre-paid maintenance agreement

午，钱都没有showup 即使是"pending payment"。然后他说要3-5天才能到帐。我说你那么晚付钱，货你今天到，应该pricematch your latest price。然后察看attachment，发现他的数目少了。神医就怒了，说把我的货运寄给我。我说好，你寄回来，我要验货。然后如果收到你的钱，才退钱。要不然你得付清，至少那短的$232，加上你付钱晚了，需要再加上pricematch的$14。然后他竟然说，不付不寄，要我把他那不知什么时候才会到帐的钱退给他才把我的货寄回。
此神医：
email把scheduled billpaid当成ALREDY PAID 骗我寄货。也不告诉有attachment让我
察看---这我有部分责任，手机看到他说付了就信任他说的，不料是个scheduled to
