terms. it is loan agent's responsibility to give your GFE. You also need to
consult your buyer agent as he/she will know more about the cost of escrow
and title.

Providing GFE has nothing to do with loan approval. Your agent should inform
you firmly once the loan is approved. Without approved loan, you cannot
remove your contingency.
Once your loan is approved, you can decide when you want to lock in your
best rate. Without initial GFE document, all the numbers on HUD-1 file could
be manipulated later.
Not sure what you meant when you said "send GFE to HUD".
