BY LORD BYRON (GEORGE GORDON)
So, we'll go no more a roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.
For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.
Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a roving
By the light of the moon.
一个月前去了 Campbridge 开会, had a guided tour, immersed in history,
forgot which college Bryon attended, his names mentioned several times by
the guide. aristocracy is evident at the conference, one of the organizer is
"Sir", a chemist of Indian heritage. anyway a poem fits a moon lit night | wh 发帖数: 141625 | 2 拜伦写这首诗是纪念什么悲伤时刻?
