发帖数: 70 | 1 The Director of Gene Synthesis and organic Chemistry will lead and oversee
all aspects of Product Conceptualization and Feasibility Development and
Product Transfer to Manufacturing for all molecular products. The incumbent
will be responsible for project deliverables, quality, QSR compliance and
costs associated with product development and transfer.
Oversees all aspects of molecular Product Development R&D activities.
Collaborates with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance personnel on
manufacturing and DHF transfers.
Partners with marketing and product management in gaining solid
understanding of the customer and customer needs through customer and/or
market research and translating those into compelling product value
propositions.
Represents the R&D molecular team internally and externally with objective
advocacy of the program’s potential and transparent disclosure of program
risks.
Evaluates externally developed Molecular platforms and chemistries for the
purpose of partnerships, acquisitions, etc. Provides such assessments to
Executive Leadership.
Interacts with industrial partners, customers, KOLs, and academia
collaborators.
Participates in and adheres to the Quality Program as defined by the QSR
especially as it pertains to Design Control.
Establishes processes, roles and accountabilities for direct reports.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in biology and organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology,
microbiology, microbiological engineering, gene engineering, fermentation
engineering or other related synthetic biology field preferred)
3+ years of extensive industry-related R&D experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of state of the art molecular biology and nucleic acid
isolation techniques.
Ability to work across cross-functional teams within the organization,
including senior management, to gain alignment and move initiatives from
idealization to commercialization.
Expertise in GLP and QSR procedures.
Demonstrate strong leadership ability and experience working with multiple
business units or internal clients required.
Strong organizational development, project management, analytical problem
solving and troubleshooting skills.
International business travel required.
