A fast growing company, which provides energy-related products and service,
is now looking for an Accounts Payable/ Payroll Accountant to join the
accounting our team. This position will directly report to controller.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
prepare and process accounts payable checks, wire transfers and
ACH payments
reconciliation of payments
prepare analysis of accounts
monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
resolve invoice discrepancies
vendor file maintenance
correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
assist in month end closing
review and verify invoices and check requests
sort and match invoices and check requests
date entry invoices for payment
process payroll in ADP payroll system
check and audit timekeeping records for compliance with
established standards
enter new hires into the payroll system
update and maintain all the payroll and benefit records
employees file maintenance
assist controller with other special projects
Education and Experience
Bachelor degree/college diploma of accounting or relevant
subject
knowledge of accounts payable
knowledge of general accounting procedures
knowledge of Microsoft office: Excel, Word and Access
proficient in data entry and management
1-3 years accounts payable and general accounting experience
experience in Microsoft Dynamic Navision preferred
experience in ADP worker force now preferred
