The Account Assistant will coordinate all accounts payable activity as well
as provide other accounting and administrative support to the department and
other areas of the company. The ideal candidate is flexible in executing a
wide variety of tasks while handling increasing accounting responsibilities
in a thorough and accurate manner.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Experience in office accounting environment
• Strong working knowledge of Excel 2010 (sorting, pivot tables,
filters)
• College degree preferred (4yr or 2yr)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of accounting in manufacturing environment will be very
helpfu
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES (not all inclusive)
Accounts Payable:
• Accounts Payable administrative responsibilities such as paying
bills, matching receipts to supplier invoices, maintaining supplier invoice
and packing list files, running checks, reviewing invoices for proper
approvals and account assignment.
• Considerable data entry and utilization of company finance and
business system, Made 2 Manage.
• Reviewing credit card charges and coordinating with personnel to
collect backup and ensure proper account assignments.
Accounting: Transition into additional accounting support duties including:
• Assist with monthly financial statement and management reports
• Conduct analytical and data-mining projects to support management
team
• Assist departments in developing and documenting procedures
• Payroll Processing and monitoring 401k contribution
• Assist in general ledger and cost accounting tasks
Additional:
• Make collection calls to customers to ensure that accounts are
maintained in a current status
• Support Accounts Receivable Administrator as needed. |
