Good morning Xxxxxx,
This e-mail message is in reply to your inquiry regarding the Form I-485,
Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, that both Xxxx
Xx and Xxxxx Xxx, filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (
USCIS) on January 26, 2015.
USCIS electronic records indicate that an element of the background check
process was initiated in Ms. Xx and Mr. Xxx’s permanent residency cases;
and it is not yet complete. After this process is complete, the Alien Files
(A-File) containing the aforementioned Form I-485’s may be referred to an
administrative review which will facilitate the return of this case to an
officer for adjudication at the NSC. While we are unable to determine the
date on which Ms. Xx and Mr. Xxx’s permanent residency cases will be
assigned to an adjudicating officer and when the adjudication process may be
complete, you may submit a follow-up inquiry to the NSC Congressional Unit
after approximately 30-45 days from the date of this e-mail message.
