unavailability of an immigrant visa number, the adjudication process in Mr.
A’s permanent residency case was not completed when it was previously
assigned to an adjudicating officer. Consequently, the Alien File (A-File)
containing your constituent’s permanent residency application was returned
to a processing queue at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC).
In a current update, we are informed that Mr. A’s A-File is being returned
to an officer for further examination in the adjudication process. Please
note that your office’s interest regarding Mr. A’s permanent residency
application has been conveyed to the aforementioned adjudicating officer.
While we are unable to determine the date on which a USCIS decision or other
notice of action will be issued in this case, you may follow-up with the
NSC Congressional Unit after approximately 14-21 days from the date of this
email message. We would be pleased to provide another case status updated
based on the future inquiry from your office and available information.
