证明（农村，当年都是在家生的），然后才能给办。 问题是我的身份证还是大学时期
办的，已经过期了。 他们说必须本人亲自回去才能办新的身份证，然后才能办出生证
明。 近期回去不是很方便，所以想知道有没有其他的途径. 有没有人用过其他的证明
代替出生证明顺利通过485的? 如果可以分享一下经验，非常感谢！
Alternatives of birth certificate:
class X and class XII certificates can only serve as secondary evidence of
birth (in case of an RFE), but not as primary evidence because both of these
have their birth dates based on a birth certificate. For the same reason,
passport can also not be used as birth evidence.
Alternatives:
1) A statement or certification from a government office that a record of
your birth does not exist.
2) An affidavit by a parent (mother preferred) stating:
* Complete names and addresses of both parents;
* Their date and place of birth;
* Complete date and place of their marriage;
* Your name and the affiant's relationship to you and
* Your complete date of birth and city and country of birth.
3) A second affidavit from a disinterested person (who can be a relative but
should not be a parent) who has personal knowledge of your date and place
of birth, and at least ten years older than you. The affidavit should
contain the following information:
* The full name and address of the person making the affidavit;
* His/her date and place of birth;
* Relationship, if any to you;
* Your date & place of birth & complete name;
* The name of both your parents and
* Details concerning how the person making the affidavit acquired knowledge
of your birth.
A sample of the affidavit is as follows (your lawyer can provide the exact
text):
I, Mrs. (Mother), wife of Mr. (Father), residing at (Complete address)
solemnly state and confirm hereunder:
* I was born in (Mother's place of birth), China on (Mother's date of birth)
.
* I married Mr. (Father) (born in (Fathers place of birth) on (Father's date
of birth) on (date of marriage) at (location of marriage).
* I am the mother of (your name) and Mr. (Father's name) is his/her father.
* Mr/Ms (Your name) was born on (your DOB) at (time and location of birth)

发帖数: 90 | 3 我没有出生证明，在没拿到AP的时候回国办签证又实在很麻烦
就让我家里人手写了请求派出所证明父子关系母子关系的信，派出所签字盖章。又找出
生医院写证明我生在那里（上面就两句话），盖章，再加上身份证。3张纸。
另外一套是附上了读书时候的学籍表+学生证。2张纸。
自己翻译，写好Certification by Translator并在BOA公证。
我本来打算收到RFE之后再回国办，那时肯定有AP了。后来收到RFE，但是完全没提出生
证明的事情。应该算过了吧 | w****f

所找找关系，寄了张照片回去就把新身份证办下来了。 |
