BIRTH CERTIFICATE-SECONDARY EVIDENCE
You should submit the oldest available additional evidence that establishes
the parentage of floweryrose. Submit as much evidence as possible. This
evidence may include, but is not limited to:
• Religious documents: Examples may include birth or baptismal
certificates, or other notable
religious documents. Religious documents must:
• Show the names of the parents:
• Bear an authorizing signature;
• Display the official stamp or seal of a religious body such as a
church, mosque, temple,
or synagogue; and
• Show the date and place of the religious event.
• Affidavits: Written statements sworn to or affirmed by two persons,
other that yourself and the
person for whom you are petitioning, who were living at the time the event(s
) occurred and
have personal knowledge of the event you are trying to prove. The persons
making the
affidavits may be relatives and need not be citizens of the United States.
Each affidavit must
contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit:
• His or her full name and address;
• His or her date and place of birth;
• His or her relationship to you, if any;
• Full information concerning the event; and
• Complete details concerning how he or she acquired knowledge of the
event.
Affidavits should be accompanied by supporting documentary evidence.
• Early school records: Records, preferably from the first school
attended, showing:
• The date of admission;
• The child's date and place of birth; and
• The name(s) of the child's parents.
• Medical Records: Hospital birth records or hospital admittance
records that name parents and
child.
• Census Records: State or federal census records showing the
floweryrose's name and place of birth,
and the date of birth or age of each person listed.
If you choose to pursue testing, you must indicate your intent in writing or
submit evidence, such as
receipts from the testing laboratory, to show that you are pursuing this
testing.

I got a similar RFE when submitting the standard 6-page birth certificate.
Here is what I did and got my green card after one week submitting the
response:
(1) Find a friend who is familiar with both English and Chinese
(2) Prepare a translation certificate: the English version of your birth
certificate matches the Chinese version
(3) Show your birth certificate to your friend and ask him to sign the
translation certificate
(4) Send the same birth certificate and the signed translation certificate
to USCIS
(5) You will receive your green card soon |
