09 US Ph.D engineering major, top 50 engineering school, now
postdoc at same school.8 english papers (5 first author, 1 co-first), 6
chinese papers 10 conference presentations/abstracts. 70 independent
citations.
claimed authorship (met), review (met) and contribution (not met). Totality
not met.
PL中用10页篇幅阐述contribution提供了不少证据还是白搭.IO说我只提供了八封推荐
信和7个会议presentation来证明contribution是不够的(奇怪的是我提交了十个会议证
明同期刊文章一起作为authorship的证据和contribution没关系,不知为何被IO揪出放
在contribution里面),我交的其他contribution证据只字未提.IO说要证明此项,the
petitioner may submit:
1. Objective documentary evidence of the significance of the beneficiary's
contribution to the field.（大家有什么好建议？）
2. Documentary evidence that people throughout the field currently consider
the beneficiary's work important.(已经交的推荐信在这里还能引用否？)
3. 推荐信（Note:Letters and testimonies, if submitted, must provide as much
detail as possible about the beneficiary's contribution and must explain, in
detail, how the contribution was "original" (not merely replicating the
work of others)and how they were of "major" significance)（意思是我的推荐信
太短不够深入，准备再交两封长些细致些的，２封不知够不够）
4. Evidence that the beneficiary's major significant contribution(s) has
provoked widespread public commentary in the field or has been widely cited.
（重新介绍引用情况？无媒体报道．．．）
5. Evidence of the beneficiary's work being implemented by others. Possible
evidence may include but not limited to:
5.1. Contracts with companies using the beneficiary's products.（有家公司可
出证明说在合作开发产品，不知行不行）
5.2. Licensed technology being used by others.（无）
5.3. Patents currently being utilized and shown to be significant to the
field.（无）
然后说我提供的证据没有一样证明sustained national/international acclaim and
small percentage/very top blah blah...若要证明的话，the petitioner may
submit evidence that the beneficiary has:
1. 进入过国家或国际大奖决赛圈.（无）
2. 当过大奖或协会成员资格的评委.（无）
3. 作过期刊editor.（无）
4. Reviewed 大量优秀期刊文章（12 journals 27 times w/thank you letters, 也介
绍了期刊排名不错，IO没看见？）
5. Consistently published scholarly articles in journals with the highest
impact factors within the field which enjoy high circulation among national
or international readers.(SCImago 排名已提供，不行？没看见？非要ISI的?)
6. Been highly cited by other members for their leading and/or authoritative
work in the field;（重新介绍引用情况？）
7. 作品在顶尖展览会展出．（不适用）

逐条回复就是了。对于已经通过的就不要提了。集中火力证明CONTRIBUTION，就按移
民官的指示尽量补充，没有的N/A，有的提供详细证据.以下几点共参考：
1. 要2-3封新的推荐信，其中至少一篇是独立的，最好是引用你文章的作者，说知道你
是因为读了你发表的文章，这篇文章是我产生了一个新的想法，因此发现了啥啥，进而
发表了一篇高水平文章在一国际发行的高质量学术期刊上。尽快写好草稿，同时多联
系几个引文作者是否能帮忙。
2。关于“ 7. 作品在顶尖展览会展出．”，如果你参加过国际会议，就将主要学术会
议的介绍及会议摘要附上，如有大会发言更好。poster也行。如果有推荐信呼应更好，
for example, "I met Dr. Xiao Niu at the 99 th national professional
conference, I was impressed by her/his presentation on study earth".
打字慢，别忘了拿到卡发包子。

请教: IO 让提供以下证据证明 totality.我没有头三项,回复时应该按此顺序列出这三

关于contribution
1.要求objective documentry
2要求documentry
都指的什么？
第二个我觉得应该不是推荐信，否则就跟第三条重复了。应该主要是引用，媒体报道或比如说邀请信，请求合作的信里边提到你工作的significant等
那第一个objective是指的什么那？

三项下面写N/A(比较难看)还是直接无视,把第四项作为第一项开始回复?
