c**i 发帖数: 6973 | 1 I left Taiwan a quarter century ago, in 1984. Up to mid-1970s, the
authoritarian government in Taiwan prohibited anything remotely related to
local affairs. I wanted to put up a poster "I love Taiwan; "No can do," I
was told. O, I hate the regime!
Apparently things have changed since. Historical documents are compiled. (In
the past years, I knew Japan kept government documents collected in the
colonial rule of Taiwan. It seems, however, more have been preserved.)
