This is very shock to me. I thought people can have much longer time, say at
least 5-6 years. |

发帖数: 997 | 2 most schools give you 5 to 6 years, but some private schools are very tough
and let people go in three years if they don't secure significant funding.
It happened to somebody I know of. |

发帖数: 16729 | 5 现在这个情形，3年很难搞定一个R01。
还是呆在大老板手下，攒一点东西再出去闯江湖。
3年一般是internal review,如果有进展，还是会多给你两年的。
看样子是review没通过，所以被要求第四年走人了。
不过要看机会的，俺认识一个就是第四年走人，结果找到个更好的位子。 |
