well, if you can fit all index in your memory, then, there would be no
problem, if not, your IO is problem. Consider different techniques of
partitioning, join index and so on. for DB2 MDC is a must for large table,
for Teradata unique primary index + secondary index + partition(range) , for
Oracle, index organize table + bitmap index + index join hint in query.
