发帖数: 120 | 2 It is a little long but normal. Here is what I know about the manuscript
process in PLOS system. Manuscript should be processed by editor office,
and then assigned to editor who is supposed to go over it and draw some kind
of solution. I normally read it as editor in whatever time that I have in
a week and take some time to think about it. Then I will send invitation
for reviewers who are given 6 days (in PLOS system) to make decision. When
all reviewers accept the invitation and are given the link to your
submission, it will be switched to under review. Two weeks is not that bad.

immediately without inviting potential reviewers, correct?
