Scientist / Sr. Scientist / Principal Scientist, Analytical Development
The core responsibility and function of these positions are to develop,
transfer and qualify analytical methods for the purpose of process support,
lot release, protein characterization and product stability activities of
our client's Biologics programs. You will design and execute analytical
method transfer, product stability and method validation activities of
impurity assays including qPCR, Immunoassays and LC based assays. You will
be involved in the study design and laying out of biologics reference
standard. You will also be involved in the transfer and qualification of
Bioassays. In addition, you will be involved in computer validation,
analytical equipment selection and establishment activities.
Requirements:
PhD or MS in Analytical Biochemistry or related discipline and 4+ years of
experience in one or more of the following analytical activities is
essential:
Expert level skills in qPCR as applied in residual DNA quantification and
characterization and impurity assays using ELISA
Working experience on one of UPLC-MS or UPLC-FLD/UV techniques
Experience in having validated two or more of the above methods
Experience with 2D western blot and Biophysical technique skills are a plus
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Experience with writing protocols, reports for method validation, stability
study and reference standard characterization activities is required.
Supervision experience is a plus.
Demonstrated presentation skills of analytical data internally and
externally in Scientific conferences
