We are very pleased to announce that the application for an NIH T32 Training
Grant in Cancer Biology that was submitted in January 2010 was approved for
funding by the National Cancer Institute.
We are funded for a 5 year period, with 4 slots in the first year and 8
slots in the subsequent years. NCI has limitations on the categories of
trainees, with a 1:3 ratio of graduate students to postdoctoral trainees.
At this time, we are soliciting applications for 1 pre-doctoral and 3 post-
doctoral slots on our training grant for the funding period 7/1/11-6/30/12.
Postdoctoral applicants should have completed a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, DSS or
equivalent. Residents and clinical fellows interested in cancer research as
part of their training options are encouraged to apply. All appointments
are restricted to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
