screwed up the team. Yanks and Rays are just so weak even on paper.
Garcia and Colon were very very good for 3-4 months. After they
ran out of gas, luck, or both, anybody who thinks Yanks have real
chance to win WS just doesn't know anything about baseball.
ps: is it really fair for a team to win WS by signing Colon and Garcia
at their ages?

ERA在全队最好.

Too many underachievers in this series, especially the 4-5-6 hitters
And talk-about the SELFISH Captain swung the bat at first pitch facing a
stuggling reliever in 8th inning when Gadner is on base stealing 2nd base!!!

Giradi. How come he did not do any move for pinch hits, I mean, they have
the Jesus warming the bench all the way.
Too bad MO is lights-out and Posada is the last year Yankees, all wasted.

You need to watch or at least follow the real news out of the eastcoast bias.
You don't get beaten by a pitcher named "Fister", rally? Fister had a record
of
8W-1L since traded to Tigers, and his September ERA was 0.53, WHIP 0.53,
even better than Verlander, actually the best of MLB.
Yanks should feel lucky that Fister had that one bad inning. Fister beating
Yanks, and AJ BURNETT beating Tigers, which one was luckier? Actually Yanks
were there before. Remember Paul Byrd cruising at Yankees Stadium?
As to underachievers, ARod was apparently impacted by injuries, so his
performance shouldn't surprise anyone. I saw somewhere that Swisher had
a career .1xx avg for playoffs. So he's quite consistent. As I said earlier,
there are so many good pitchers making very careful pitches, so those 2
spoiled
guys' performance are quite normal. Sorry, no meatball served in playoffs.

Fister got bailed out by the UMPs several times in the early innings with
high/low pitches outside. And he did throw quite some high meatballs. Just
that Yankees did not take advantages of those.
Too bad Yankees was in a slump when they met the red-hot Detoit.
Trust me, next year Fister will get Fistered by ALE ALC hitters.

definitely better than Paul Byrd, Kyle Lohse, or Freddy Garcia of this year.
Nobody should be shocked that he could win a playoff game. Even Burnett
pitched
a gem.
