modification 没办法，必须去做。
settlement fee 如果拿了，就不能再去要钱，比如modification 把车弄坏。
好像5月一号前可以opted out, 找别的律师打官司。

the settlement fee. In most of states, you can chose do it or not as long as
you don't care the settlement fee. This time MB settlement fee is much less
comparing to VW, so I would guess more people will not do it.
Diesel car is dying due to the emission regulation, the old diesel car/SUV/
truck without emission system price is going up.

发帖数: 556 | 7 The so called modification is fishy. Most likely, they used more catalyst,
lower combustion temperature, more exhaust feedback to lower emission.
Serious carbon built-up might be the consequences.
I will opt out, and hire lawyer. Couple law firms are recruiting clients now

改了以后应该还是省油，但是积碳估计会严重。
