Oracle:
现在在面一个Fusion middleware product management组的职位, 需要做一些weblogic
的demo的set up/coding, 但是以后可以做其他PM方面的工作, 当到PM
Workday:
associate product manager, title 很明确就是PM, 进去以后重点做他家analytics方
面的新产品, 也有机会rotate到其他组, 比如business process management 什么的..
两个职位都和functional application 没啥关系. 感觉Oracle大公司, 办绿卡方便,
不知道Middleware 这个前景这么样? Workday最近蛮火的, 但不知道企业文化如何? |

试让我准备好30-40分钟时间以及可以上网的电脑。今天请了半天假在家等着电话，电
话过来一个印度哥（后来查linkedin是Head of Data Science）问了2个问题，一个是
relocation，一个是我之前学校做的machine learning的project，我回答完后就问我
有没有问题问他。我是蛮感兴趣他们是怎么做产品的所以还准备了很多问题的，结果就
问了2个面试我的人就说他要开会去了。前后面试时间8分钟，我陈述和问问题的时间大
概5，6分钟。
我知道板上有workday工作的，请问这个是workday的正常程序吗？ |

分析你上网的频率 目的地址 还有上下班时间表，电话记录 可以分析出离职的概率
来给管理层提醒，是给加工资还是炒鱿鱼。

only for 600m. It is not even 3x return for the investors.
I doubt the common engineers there can get > 1M.
The founders were from peoplesoft. They were already rich
most likely.
It is a crowded field. When the company gets bought, lot
of people will get laid off again.
It is certainly a good fight for the people who got laid
off from people soft. But they are not winning... |

打电话in middle of my dinner, 抑扬着口音的英文，靠，为了你丫的英文，哥我不去
了行不行啊？！； Workday 更JB要命，HR 一月份要的我简历，三月底email说setup
phone screen, 我觉得答的还行，两个月后的今天，没消息－－－我一点都不介意，三

用的上，用的上的部分基本上google现搜，stackoverflow上都有答案。所以Google并
整合方案的能力最重要，特别是在高压力底下。CS学位给的是一块敲门砖，还有一个思
考解决问题的方法。学校里学习的东西跟工作里用的其实是脱节的。有时间学学常见主
流框架
比较实在。
2. 码农的平均工资远没有版上常提的数字高。版上常提的数字多是FLG。如果你转行，
工作10年预期能拿个15万也就差不多了，以今天的工资算，不考虑通胀。三番版上有个
Realtor，码农的工资应该是阅人无数。说过15万的base是个坎，能超过的人不多，当
然那时2-3年前的事情，现在相应也许应该有个17万？另外股市涨成这样，也许base根
本不说明问题。
3. 尽管如此，码农混个温饱比较容易。如果你有实力，可以进FLG或者hot startup，
如果你有实力又有运气，跟着startup发个小财概率也不小。但如果你是转行的，不要
预期太高，还是以混个温饱为目标比较现实。转行的也有发财的，但什么都是个概率问
