州公共健康部于本周二公布对这家护理中心的处罚——10万美元的罚款。
据美国广播公司第7频道新闻网（ABC7）报道，受罚的这件护理中心名为Woodruff
Convalescent Center。该护理中心未能遵循联邦及加州有关对护理家庭（护理中心）
的条例和规范，从而导致严重失误。
今年1月4日，加州公共健康部的工作人员突访该中心，因为加州公共健康部门在此之
前收到了死去的病人家属的告状。死者家属说，死者生前在该中心接受护理时，多次摔
倒在地。受害者是当时已经82岁高龄的视障患者，在护理中心接受护理的时间为9个星
期。在这9个星期中，视障病患共摔倒5次，其中一次摔倒伤到了头部，造成严重脑伤。
该护理中心为了避免病患再次摔倒，把他放置在一个带有安全绑带但不能自己解扣的
轮椅上，而医生的建议是将视障病患置于可自己解扣的带有安全带的轮椅。
去年11月初，视障病患再次摔倒在地，摔破了额头，而护理中心的护士未能为其止血
，后来叫了救护车送到医院，医院为病患做了手术，才止住了血。

真的基本没有什么好玩的地方。。。。lz你可能会很失望的，不过就待一个礼拜还好
有个叫"你好“的buffet的不错，有个叫qinqin的韩中餐馆还可以，还有其他很多餐馆
，都在woodruff rd上，此路很繁忙昌盛。算得上是南卡的“淮海路”了。。。
haywood rd上有个mall,最近刚新开了个苹果店，天天挤爆人。
downtown晚上还蛮漂亮，有个stickyfinger吃rib不错。
附近有个小山头叫paris mountain，开车转转去山顶看风景，山下park烧烤也不错
晚上无聊也只好泡泡吧喝喝酒，打打桌球不错。。。。

如果你想去远一点的，可以考虑northern wisconsin,那里湖泊数量不在明尼苏达之下
， woodruff/minocqua区域是非常有名的渔民据点，附近州立和国家森林公园有好多营
地选择。能预订的你现在多半拿不到了，找first come, first serve |
