这几天民主和共和两党都在争执谁的税收政策对小企业更有利。对奥巴马来说，似乎25
万更是一个分界线，低于这个的就是要值得保护的“好人”，越了这个线的就是要被均
分财富规整的“坏人”。至于大公司，更是被攻击有“windfall”暴利，属于要被人民
民主专政的一类。连McCain 也提都不敢提给大公司减税实际上有利于经济发展，只说
给所有人减税。
我认为当今美国的社会舆论陷入了一个误区，好像大公司都是剥削人民的邪恶力量，不
得不除之而后快，至少也应该把他们的利润拿来统统再分配才符合”economic
fairness and social fairness”. 这完全是一个左派的误导。
首先，你以为政府对大公司多征收的税由谁来交呢？公司会只是减少被人民痛恨的高层
管理人员的工资来缴税吗？错了，如果公司税率提高，大部分的多交部分会最终以提高
价格的形式转嫁到他们的产品或服务中去，也就是说公司税是政府从老百姓口袋里掏钱

心理学基本算社会科学。做行为经济学、金融学的，有时候会做实验；管理学和社会学
有时候也有实验。当然，我们不知道LZ的具体专业。
最近，社会科学都有采用实验，来提高研究科学性的倾向。有些是lab experiment，实
验对象主要是学生。拿到funding有大量资助的甚至可以做field experiment。比如去
泰国的一个贫困农村，给每家每户一笔cash windfall，然后研究这些家庭的消费和投
资行为，以理解贫困的根源。做得更大的是social experiment，比如世行最新上任的
首席经济学家Paul Romer，就一直想进行一个叫 charter city的实验 -- 用发达国家
的政治、法制、经济体系去管理一个落后国家的城市，然后试图去理解到底为什么有些
国家发达，有些国家弱后，据说瑞士和洪都拉斯双方有 意向。
不过，社会科学做实验，主要的难点有两个，一个就是实验的对象是人，就比较复杂。
另一个就是，外部环境是不断变化发展的，所以一个实验的结论是否有external

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The commodity which enjoyed the biggest gain in price
last year can be answered with a simple question: Got milk?
That's because milk, not gold, oil, or any of the more popular futures
contracts, enjoyed about a 35.7% rise in price in 2011 to close at 18.77
cents per pound.
