活了这么大，尽管没有啥曲折的经历，也耳闻目睹了许多别人的故事
大概偶惟一可以确定的事，是你永远不知道明天会发生什么
前面等着你的是mishap还是windfall，你永远算不到
大部分时候，事情会在你计划之中，偶尔，也会出你意料之外
往往，这意料之外的事却是决定性的
甚至致命的
我们常说天道酬勤，或者皇天不负有心人
我觉得这是统计规律
也许是个正态分布
也许是个whatever分布
总之大概是个随机事件
我们常常感到困惑
我觉得困惑是大部分人的常态
不困惑时，是注意力被转移了
或者选择性遗忘
当然有少部分人头脑异常清醒
可清醒的也无法逃脱随机性的魔爪
我们个体的人生是随机的
人类历史的前进也是随机的
比如每个国家都面临内部和外部的不确定
每个国家在面对突发事件时的应对也无法预测

这个点数。我是懒，要开个公司还是要费点力气的。你作房子买卖的生意容易，我这书
生就算了。另外，我还差24 点呢，那是六年啊。最后想想也没意思，搞满了40点，最

其实你可以制造各种各样都似乎有道理的理论。
例如，
我随便就可以想到以下各种独立不同的理论：
1。Affordability Theory: 经济负担能力论。
人性本恶，所以考虑的是犯罪代价付的起否。
有钱有势的自觉比较付的起，包括律师费，
所以更容易也更愿意去大胆的冒险犯大罪。
2。Windfall Theory：不劳而获论。
有钱有势的更容易也更喜欢不劳而获，
而他们的环境也更多不劳而获的机会，
所以更倾向于做大笔金钱的白领阶级罪案。
3。Boredom Theory：时间太多太清闲论。
人一旦太轻闲，就会倾向于低级的时间打发。
由于有钱有势的一般比较有额外无所事事的时间，
因此也就更加有歪主意，包括犯色情和金钱的罪。
看多少政客，银行家，私生活糜烂或贪污，就是如此。
这理论可以解释无业但有基本生活保障的穷人也易犯罪。
我随便提出上面三个理论，其他人显然可以想出更多的理论。
其实经济学，心理学，社会学等，其中许多理论都是忽悠。
不论真假，但只要说的通，信得过，卖得出，自然就有市场。

没有指望。另外，美国国会前几年有一个法律出来，就是拿政府pension的人，退休后
应得的SS benefit也要减少（ Windfall Elimination Provision），也就不指望了。
别把孩子的大学学费放在最重要的位置。最重要的是我们自己的退休。我们不能指望孩
子给我们养老的。如果你的收入在孩子进大学那几年在十五万以下的话，尽量搞清楚大
学的financial aid的计算，然后作一些必要的调整。孩子适当背点大学的低息贷款也
是好事，是孩子学会理财的一个重要工具。我以前写过很多，你要不熟悉这个计算的话
，你找找我以前在文学城写的。里面有计算的逻辑，数字不一定有用了，但结合一些网
站的计算器，你会有一个大致的picture。
我这里主要是房子便宜。我这个房子卖了还不够儿子上私立学校的学费呢。上公里该有
余。所以，不性就卖了房子，我会中国养老去。：）。 |

Nobody here knows her lawyer's rationales. So please don't second guess her
lawyer.
Asking her to make an attempt to find a job can show that she is not sitting
on her ass and waiting for a windfall. Since the real chance for her to
actually find a job is close to none, when she fails to find a job after a
period of searching, it can show that she really has to get alimony because
she can not survive on her own.
