背景
我们是作一个与激素相关的肿瘤的。这个肿瘤的治疗方法已经相当完善，就是让身体里
不能生产激素或用一个小分子化合物抢占激素受体上激素的结合部位。但多年治疗后，
会有相当比例的病人产生抗药性。这个抗药性机理相当复杂。我们实验室一直致力于筛
选和现有药物不同的机理的小分子化合物，包括受体和DNA的结合或其他与受体相关的
pathway的inhibitors。前几年成功地筛选出了几个不同机理的化合物，个别在细胞水
平达到了nM的级别，动物测试也在10 mg/kg的水平。
最近在这个领域对抗药性肿瘤的研究发现，部分病人的抗药性是因为受体激素结合部位
发生了突变。一个或几个氨基酸的突变就能导致肿瘤细胞的生长不能被现有药物抑制。
所以，我们很想知道我们筛选出来的化合物对这些突变受体是不是也起作用。理论上来

offense: 看似 vancouver 强不少，其实不然。
top-line Naslund=Gaborik, Bertuzzi整个series如同梦游。second-line
sedin 二兄弟虽是identical twins,却鲜见精妙配合，就好像昨天的一个
PP, 两人不停的换位，wild队员纹丝不动，连解说都说，两个twins换来
换去 make 啥difference?
defense: vancouver也不像想象的那么差，尤其是考虑了每场的PK时间那么多，
defensemen 其实也不是很糟糕。特别是Jovanovski和Orlund还能提供
不少offensive的支持。canucks这场关键就是减少PIM,少给Wild open

这是我第二次来到阿尔卑斯山区，这次的行程主要集中在Mt. Blanc massif到伯尔尼高
原之间。这段阿尔卑斯山脉虽然不长，却集齐了最高峰Mt. Blanc和三大北壁
Matterhorn, Eiger, Grandes Jorasses。可以说是挺有代表性的一段。开始的一半时
间走了Walker's haute route，这条路连接了两大登山中心，法国的Chamonix和瑞士的
Zermatt，从Mt. Blanc山谷一直走到Matterhorn脚下。因为时间和天气的原因，没有完
整走完全程，但是highlight应该算都看到了。十天里既有炎炎烈日、也有磅薄大雨，
还经历了八月飞雪。最后一天在Zermatt的缆车上，一个当地人很认真的问我为什么要

们一个逆袭的机会，全传奇们这届杯赛可以暂时歇歇了。值得一提的是妖人帝，群内投
票时投了UT杯赛，最后报名时倒戈投了H2H杯赛，然而选队时，居然退赛了。。。被坑
的如内幕帝等，自不必说。。。
这届杯赛在赛制上有所创新，选手们按照群内排名，倒序选择国家队。下面就来看看16
位基友的选队。
1. ccclaire121 - 葡萄牙（五星）。毫无疑问，C罗在15里面绝对是一大bug，claire
选择葡萄牙应该是将宝全压在C罗身上，然而一旦C罗被限制，葡萄牙的后防线很难抵挡
其他强队的攻势。对于葡萄牙第一个被挑走，我还是感到相当意外。
2. fducici - 德国 （五星）。德国队三条线实力平衡，还有诺伊尔坐镇门将，实力在
国家队里面绝对数一数二。弱点是两个边后卫，没有很好的人选可用。此队其实是我的
首选。
3. yifei - 比利时（五星）。比利时被第三个选中一点也不意外，阿扎尔，德布鲁因
，孔帕尼，库尔图瓦，可以说同样是一只每条线上都有当红球星的球队。当然这也没有
什么卵用，反正轮不到我。

现在， 我车库里就有一包那个scott百慕大的种子, 当初对百慕大根本不懂的时候买的
。 就是wild type, hull & unhull mixed。研究了一些时间，发现，根本没人种wild
type 百慕大。周围所有的百慕大都是hybird. wild type 百慕大很难种活，总花费比
SOD还贵。即便活了，hybird百慕大也难看。 基本上， 买百慕大种子的人都是， 都是
自己不知道自己在干嘛的人。
后来而且铺的SOD + plugs。

Paul Haggis编剧，导演的。
好编剧，写了个好剧本，并且有名气以后，不愿意让别人导演（感觉得到编剧的credit
），所以自己导。昆廷也是这路子。这路作者的问题是，他们不是职业导演，所以作为
导演，都有问题。
Haggis他的问题是，他本质上是个技巧性的作者，靠作品结构来显得与众不同。为什么
这样？
他是个电视剧编剧出身。本片里说了，这个写作，其实要写得personal，才会让人有那
种真正的共鸣。而他写电视剧本出身，问题就一个：写得太多了。
一个作家，写得太多，肯定被淘空，最后只好沦为靠写作技巧为生（这就是为什么你不
能把自己的聪明零卖了的缘故——你的聪明你的思考你的积累（包括情绪的积累）就那
么多，你今天写个杂文，明天写个读后感，写上几年，就写空了，剩下的只能是重复。

贝爷（Bear Grylls）的新节目《Running Wild With Bear Grylls》本周将邀请到有史以来最大咖的名人——美国总统巴拉克·奥巴马（Barack Obama）参与为期3天的阿拉斯加荒野求生挑战。
《Running Wild With Bear Grylls》是继《Man v.s. Wild》（荒野求生）后，贝爷在NBC的新节目，Bear Grylls将带领一群名人到偏僻的地方完成为期48小时的探险任务。
美国NBC电视台也确认了该消息：“在这周贝尔的节目中，美国总统奥巴马将与贝尔一起，在阿拉斯加的荒野中冒险。他将在这期节目中观察研究气候变化对该地区的影响。”

。一共七个，都有名字。原来的书里没有名字的啊。不知道哪里来的。做得很精致，每
个卖7.95美元。
这个maurice sendak几乎是美国现在最好的儿童作家了似的。别人都没有整一个专架的
。where the wild things are当年（1964年）拿了美国最高的一个儿童文学奖。后来
他又拿了安徒生儿童文学奖，是唯一得奖的美国人。前一阵又得了瑞典一个儿童文学奖
，好像是奖他的画画。他那些画的确很有特色，一眼就能认出来。
我又看了一本他的书，叫very far away，和where the wild things are差不多，都是
讲小男孩离家出走，最后又回家。开头说妈妈忙着给弟弟洗澡，没空理他，他问问题妈
妈根本没听到。他伤心了，就决定离家出走，到一个very far away的地方，有人理他
，回答他的问题。看得我很内疚，我弄小弟的时候常常不理瓜的，有时候烦起来还叫瓜
别问那么多了。

“我”的一部分靈智，在開頭那個wild wild dream之后，被邪靈Jason控制（Jason的
真實身份，作者沒有披露，到底是外星生物、異界幽靈、還是來自古老文明的吸血鬼，
也許并不重要，我們姑且稱之為邪靈），從而出現了精神分裂的狀態，Tansy便是化身
之一，作為邪靈的agent，來進一步吸取“我”殘存的靈智。兩次出現的tornado，似曾
相見的de javu，最后深情的相擁，很充分的說明的這一點。
作為邪靈agent的Tansy下意識里對 Chestnut Lodge 的厭惡與恐懼，源自于chestnut
tree所象征的堅貞。而同時也是“我”的迷惑，誘惑的來源。另外值得注意的是文章的
標題，Oak Crest Manor，橡樹傳統上經常作為生命之樹的象征，這或許暗示著更宏大
的背景，光明與黑暗、生命與死亡的斗爭。Oak Crest Manor只是一個引子，Jason也許
也只是更高層次黑暗勢力的代言人。

San Diego聖地牙哥這個城市，在距離LA南方約二小時車程的位置，如果住南
一些，一個多小時就會到，所以是一個蠻方便去玩的地方，當天就可以來回沒問
題，一般想到這個城市，最有名的就是San Diego是美國Biotech生化科技產業
最集中的一個中心，在旅遊上Zoo動物園和Sea World海洋世界也極為著名，這
個城市本身也非常值得一遊。從LA過去，走5號往南，在途中還有一個Outlets，
剛好可以休息一下，就是Carlsbad Premium Outlets，在Palomar Airport Rd下往
北就會看到，隔壁是The Flower Fields，有荷蘭風車和美麗的花田，每年春季開
花時就會開放，Early March through early May。1887年落成的Neimans Restaurant
是維多利亞風格古建築，現改名為Ocean House是Carlsbad著名的懷舊餐館。
