长周末计划到华盛顿的东部做一次road trip，计划包括Palouse，Walla Walla。周六早
上一路上交通还是很顺利，不过感觉出行的人很多。西雅图附近的天气并不很理想，但
是通过DOT的实时监控，可以看到山那边已经是阳光普照了。
第一站，位于哥伦比亚河谷的Gingko Petrified Forest State Park。这个公园很特别
，陈列着各种树木化石，有大有小，还有一个小小的博物馆，有详细的信息，博物馆陈
列着大量图片、化石切片和一些文献，说明化石森林形成的过程。公园的位置是欣赏开
阔哥伦比亚河谷的好地点，在树下，拿出准备好的水果零食，安安静静的在这大河之畔
，来一次野餐。
吃饱喝足，开车跨国哥伦比亚河，到了对面的Wild Horse Monument，这里的山脊上，竖
立着几十匹由金属材料制成的奔马形象，但是要想到跟前去欣赏，还要花点力气，一段
0.5英里左右的山路，大概150英尺的爬升，就可以到达山脊之上。
天气很热，这段不算很长的距离，因为小路路况很糟糕，让向上攀得的人们都很吃力... 阅读全帖 |

全预订光了（没法提前半年安排行程，而且天气、积雪状况也无法预测）
剩下的first-come-first-serve permit得在出发的前一天8:00am去ranger
station排队拿，那就意味着要在出发的两天前去占ranger station附近的
camp site或者附近的旅馆住一夜，但yosemite之类的地方夏天订个camp
site也几乎不可能啊。
还有什么办法搞到wildness permit呢？有什么地方转让wilness permit么？ |

加入两张wild cards，JOKER and joker

say，Kc to Ac
if you hold joker, you can change the suit of another hole card
say, 9s to 9c
if you hold both, you can change the points and suit of one board card

海报， 看来Sean Penn拍摄的"Into The Wild"已经完工了，但好象并没有象预期的那
样在嘎那电影节上亮相，不过首映日期定下的是9月21日，已经不远了。 我第一次读
同名书籍的时候，就觉得这是拍电影的好题材，纳闷着为什么没有人注意呢？不过终究
还是被Sean Penn这个好莱坞的另类给发现了，所以去年得知Sean Penn正在阿拉斯加拍
摄这部电影的时候就很是让我期待了。
这本书的作者叫Jon Krakauer,一个户外运动专家和杂志编辑。他写过另一本书"
Into Thin Air"，好像国内已有翻译，叫作“进入空气稀薄地带”。“Into Thin Air"
记录了喜玛拉雅登山史上最大的一次山难，那一天总共有十几人遇难，而Jon Krakauer
正是那次山难的亲身经历者和幸存者。Jon的文笔很好，叙述能力强，故事讲得丝丝入
扣，引人入胜。从文字中可以感受到许多感人的瞬间，深深打动了我。“Into Thin

果来旅游的话，特意跑一趟也挺折腾的， zoo周围好玩的就挺多的
wild animal park可以坐车，一个africa safari tour，然后远远的看动物，当然也有

看完The Immigrant后，我紧接着看了Beasts of the Southern Wild。这两部电影的感
觉差得太远了，一个用了那么美的灯光色调，另一个则赤裸裸的几近原始的暴露在阳光
下。可是南国野兽是一部那么好的电影，2012年的奥斯卡提名了四个大奖，最佳电影，
导演，最佳女主（audition的时候她年仅5岁），和最佳改编剧本。跟其它的提名电影
比起来，它的票房少得可怜，可是我觉得它一点也没有比别的提名电影逊色。
这是一个叫Bathtub的地方，一个被Louisiana防洪堤划在世界之外的一个小岛渔村。这
里破败，残旧，甚至蛮荒得让人觉得不是在美国。永远脏兮兮的Hushpuppy和她的爸爸

昨儿忽然想起2008年看过的《Wild China》，BBC出品英文滴，贴给她得省下我多少查
字典的时间呀～～～
虽然好几年前第一次看就很喜欢，认真负责滴左史还是决定在推荐给老外之前再看一遍
确认下。
这回是趁着周末戴耳机一口气儿看完的，发现除了文化视角和镜头语言，英文旁白和配
乐也都很优美。
