M entry 没规定你不能2次进来，100次进来都行，但是你不能给人的感觉是你要住这。
CBP officer只要感觉你不会长住，你来多少次都没事。
B2 is temporary visitor visa.你说你一次呆6个月，回去几天又回来，回去几天有回
来，你还是visitor吗？哪个visitor几个月几个月的住的。
而且，美国这个是law,是law就麻烦。
我以前就是这样，H1b辞职后，一周就换了B2回来了，第一次，没事，第二次，没事，
第三次，出事。给的时间越来越短，officer就明着说，我就是觉得是还是住美国。
后来我回国蹲了3个月，再回来，就又没事了。现在我已经在美国驻的很少了。所以每次入境都没事。
麻烦的不过是美国，大部分国家都是这样，你去欧洲，你每半年内最多只能呆90天，超
呆了就罚钱，再进就不让入境。M visa也没用
中国因为没有这种什么immigrant intention,所以出入自然就没事。 |

妈申请过探亲签证，记得当时也是选B2来着，不过我这次填的时候，好像在线DS－160

总结一下就是:
1.你不能把父母作为dependents加到你的保险里，只有配偶和孩子可以。只能买
visitor保险
2.visitor保险不包括pre-existing condition,个别的包括acute onset of a pre-
existing condition.
3.visitor保险大都需要你自己先支付，然后再向保险公司claim.

作关系的，这次过来是考察来的。当时老师不在，所以就让我代替他招待了。当时在老
师的许可下安排了一顿午餐（老师说了留好小票，然后他报销），结帐的时候用了信用
卡，并且用了课题组另外一个老师给的大概是Research Foundation （RF）的一个tax
exemption form。现在准备报销，结果一下出问题了（问题比较复杂，但是大概就是老
师可能不能一个人说了算了，需要学校领导的approval）。
我有几个担心的问题，希望各位给予建议：
1. 这种工作午餐的钱，到底是不是在合法的报销范围内？9个人吃了$130（包括小费，
但不包括税）。我怕一报上去，领导说我们不能用公款招待visitor，那一下把我和导
师全放进去了。
2. 假设报销不顺利，最后不能报销的话，我在报税的时候把这部分消费税补上，还会
不会还违反规定。我现在主要是怕被人说misuse exemption form。如果违反使用了这
个form会被监禁和处以$20,000以下的罚款。

我2013年12月11日来J1签证美国做postdoc。一直做到2015年2月26日postdoc结束出境
美国。之间没有出过境。回国后在国内工作，之后2015年6月25日至2015年7月12日和
2016年1月13至2016年1月23日以B1签证来美国出差。这两次出差跟postdoc一点关系没
有，也没有任何收入。所以2015年所有的收入就是postdoc那两个月的收入。
1. 1040NR-EZ上面Your occupation in the United States怎么填？我目前已经离开美
国，但是手里的B1/B2签证还在有效期内，这里填Visitor吗？
2. 1040NR-EZ第二页E和F怎么填？ 填B1 visitor和从J1 Research scholar转成B1

出上海用ap没问题。sfo入关，首先是普通队，问了些问题，然后被要求去secondary
inspection (传说中的小黑屋。其实很大，很亮。里面有五六个海关关员，好像都是亚
裔。）基本没问什么，敲了章就出来了，十分钟。
总结：
1。要填i-94, 走visitor
2. ap 足以， 别的文件一概没看
3。小黑屋不黑
4。身份转为parolee (see I-94 stamp),但是可以凭有效H1B继续工作.

的，更不要说批了的了，尤其是七月二号没赶上车的，大家一齐冲向 485 高地。
485 填表战，又开始了！
有的同学过于紧张，简单的问题也不敢把握，向白老师 (xiaobaitu, 呢称 XBT, 又称
小白兔 JJ 或 小白兔 MM) 求助的贴子是满天飞呀！就象北京春天的柳絮。
老师和系主任咬过好几次耳朵，建议挂个咨询公司的牌子，向白老师问一个问题的收一
毛钱，＂在线等＂的算 Premium Service 多收五分。系主任胆子太小，今天老师还说
，我们动手罢！他却总说道Ｎｏ！——这是洋话，你们不懂的。否则早已发了。
所以老师抄起剪子和浆糊，助白老师和其他大侠一鼻之力。

我想每个回复的楼主帖子的人都是希望告诉楼主他所了解的，我也不例外。我自己到澳
洲一年多了，之前我在法国待过。我的感觉，澳洲的医疗系统和法国的医疗系统很不一
样，不同居住状态的人对应于不同的医疗政策。我自己的经历，因为周围朋友所拿的签
证不一样，象别人打听的时候得到的答案也不一样。举一个我亲身经历的例子：今年是
我在澳洲第一次退税，那个税表上有一个选项：如果报税人有私人保险的话，可以申请
退税。我的房东告诉我（她是PR），我的保险公司肯定会给我寄过来一封信，这封信中
有税表中关于私人保险退税所要求的一切信息。我一直等到9月份都没有收到这封信，
后来我去Bupa柜台去问他们，他们说我是oversea visitor，不能申请私人保险退税，

料过去。官网上说两种方式都可以，但是New York和LA的visa office的网站都显示

我想去2号公路里面的 Chilao 一带的trail走走，如有兴趣的话请和我联系。计划是：
11:00am 在 hwy 210 的 2号公路出口处（Angeles Crest Hwy）集合（2号和Milmada
Dr交界处，下图中的A点）。然后沿2号往北开大约 27mi 到 Chilao Visitor Center。
那一带有著名的 Silver Mocassin Trail（全长53mi）和 PCT（Pacific Crest Trail
）的一部分。但是我在网上找不到那附近这两条trail的具体信息，所以想到 visitor
center 了解情况以后再选一条来回总长 8mi 左右的道，走 4个小时左右。

游记懒得写了，乘我还记得，把几个Popular的景点开车过去的路线简单说一下：
1. June Lake Loop
395过了mammoth lakes后再往北开30mile，看路标，在路左边，又叫Rt 158
June Lake和Silver Lake景色很好，June Lake有picnic area，可以用餐。
2. Parker Lake
在June Lake Loop上过了Silver Lake，进入Grant Lake之后，看路标，路左边，
是条unpaved的小路开进去，开2 mile到Parker lake trailhead，走trail进去
大概3 mile可以到湖边，这条trail后半段景色非常好，而且基本木有爬升。
3. Mono Lake
a. Visitor Center，395过了June lake Loop再往北，大概10mile，看路标，路右边。
是Mono Lake和Yosemite共用的一个visitor center，有观景台俯瞰整个Mono Lake。
