well even if they can work well in their areas. Visitees usually spend more
than enough time to help them to revise their English papers, which, I
think, benefits visitors more. Furthermore, visitors can learn a state of
the art research if they work hard. I guess this is the purpose of the
Chinese government. If visitors do not work hard here, how they can face to
the Chinese tax payers??? |

我计划是先跟老板说quit，然后让老板知道我在找工作之后，再去跟老板谈transfer
刚才查了一下才发现，J1要是terminated的话，没有30天的grace period，得立刻走人啊

如果现在马上开始办豁免的 如果要等豁免批了再递485，可能来不及在Ｊ1过期前拿到

The reason of the suggestion is that there might be wrong doing on the
immigration officer (or translator) side, sensing from the last word from
the translator.
Here are the two suggestions:

房东说你父母是visitor， 不是指他们在美国是visitor， 是指来你这里短期居住是你
的visitor， 如果打算住半年，就太长了，不能算visitor了，你要另换房子或给他们
租房子。
你的孩子也算一个人，确实超出人数了。
如果你现在住的地方有一室一厅，我觉得给你父母租挺好的，离的近，即能照顾你们，
又互不影响。即便是自己父母，住久了也会有问题。 |

visitor，绿卡和公民。 如果分两个的，大多数情况是绿卡跟公民走，如果公民人多，

好在Gatlinburg镇附近找。
看萤火虫的话，要在傍晚时间在Sugarlands Visitors Center坐Trolley去Elkmont，不
能自己开车去Elkmont。自己的车要停在Sugarlands Visitors Center。
Sugarlands Visitors Center是雨雾山四个visitor centers之一，距离Gatlinburg大
约是两迈。
我个人倾向于六月九号十号那个周末，最好十一号星期一请一天假，否则对不起路上那
十个小时。
downside是不能看月虹，因为农历十五是六月四号。我想月虹以后找个农历十五的周末
再去。

发帖数: 29 | 40 刚到亚特兰大一个月，上个周末和芝加哥来的两个朋友一起开车去了Smoky Mountain，
Charleston和Savannah，发点照片和游记上来看看哦～
周六一早出发，芝加哥来的朋友特意带了短袖来南方，结果还是得裹得严严实实出门。
八成风雪就是追着他们来的。。。开车差不多4个多小时，就到了Cherokee，Smoky
Mountain National Park在North Carolina的entrance。接下来就是找那个visitor
center，GPS、问人，兜来兜去还是花了快一个小时才找到-_-!在找visitor center的
路上，还进了Cherokee的welcome center，里面的人告诉我们说因为下雪，通往
Gatlinburg的路被封了。到了visitor center，坏消息被再次证实，从Cherokee到
Gatlinburg当中的trail被close不说，原本花半个多小时就可以到的Gatlinburg现在要
绕2个多小时才可以到～～～
因为晚上的motel订在了Galinburg，所以要赶着开车去那边，在Cherokee visitor

发帖数: 884 | 45 刚从盐湖到黄石到总统山回来，说说行程，因为朋友只能请假一周所以我们玩的有点赶
但是起码该看的都看了.看看我们走马观花的行程吧
Day 1： 晚上1030到达盐湖城，拿车接着往salt flat开。大概开了2个小时，一路75的
speed limit所以开起来很爽。晚上入住Wendover UT的motel 6 (by the way they
didn’t leave the light on for us and they charge 1.25 for shampoo! 但是一晚
才40刀所以也就不计较了)。 Wendover是在UT和NV的界上所以周围有很多大酒店。因为
朋友当天从北京到旧金山所以不敢订下午三点飞盐湖的飞机。
Day 2：早上起床吃了个麦当劳就去了Bonneville salt flat，如果是晴天的话非常美

发帖数: 884 | 46 刚从盐湖到黄石到总统山回来，说说行程，因为朋友只能请假一周所以我们玩的有点赶
但是起码该看的都看了.看看我们走马观花的行程吧
Day 1： 晚上1030到达盐湖城，因为朋友当天才从北京到旧金山所以不敢订下午三点飞
盐湖的飞机怕万一晚点，接下来就只有晚上740pm的了。到了拿车接着往salt flat开。
大概开了2个小时，一路75的speed limit所以开起来很爽。晚上入住Wendover UT的
motel 6 (by the way they didn’t leave the light on for us and they charge 1
.25 for shampoo! 但是一晚才40刀所以也就不计较了)。 Wendover是在UT和NV的界上
所以周围有很多大酒店。
Day 2：早上起床吃了个麦当劳就去了Bonneville salt flat，如果是晴天的话非常美

西雅图Seattle Bellevue附近的daycare/preschool
Kindercare我看了MS homeowner list上对它的评论都不好，所以直接忽略，没去看。
Bellevue的两个蒙校Eton和Bellevue Montessori都不是纯粹waiting list型的，而是
每年固定时间招生，只招3岁以上。每年交申请表，Eton要面试进入，BM不要面试。一
旦确定招你，没入学就要先交不少定金。我们在Eton和BM之间犹豫很久，说来好笑，因
为BM要家长带中午饭，而且不给热，我们曾经在加州时就带过一年的午饭，觉得太累了
，所以就把BM给否决了。Eton有外面的catering service，就是还要多交钱。申请Eton
以前，看了不少对Eton的评论，褒贬不一。greatschools.net有好几个负面评论，我曾
经给教导主任打电话问这个事，她说她不知道这个网站，她觉得孩子都挺happy的，老
