不过我发现我儿子没去push music & dance, 确实不太如老白老黑的娃.
学校组织的活动, 小白很多上去能歌善舞的, 小黑会敲盆节奏感强以后长大了身体好舞
蹈能力也强.
其实劳模和亚裔差不多. 没见几个能歌善舞的劳模, 虽然鸭们最喜欢放噪音听拉丁歌. |

超一半都是各路中小学的bands performing classic muisc.
这还有无数学校排不进去或者水平不够, 在local的教堂或者学校里自娱自乐的.
老中娃因为过于强调钢琴, 反而能混进去的不多, 学violin的还好一些. |

韩寒这样的在国内小资圈还有市场。 在美国精英圈里看不到任何有做偶像的可能。
美国的精英圈大多都是苦出来的， 少数也是二代父母苦过的， 尤其是美国的各种二代
吃的苦比DS还多， 从小就各方面严格要求。 这倒是跟国内相反的。
暑假推娃中文的班上， 1/3都是老白了。
我觉得什么时候spanish的外语课上老中娃有1/3比例了， 老中家长再去和白人精英家
长去比推吧。
就和钢琴一样， 不是老中移民了美国才发明了钢琴。 是老美推半天推不过老中， 才
把piano & violin定义成chinese instruments. |

I usually enjoyed talking to and being friends with Chinese and Koreans who
went to HS and college and who maintained their own culture and spoke little
-moderate English (most in college were just foreign students who would
return to China). They were real and interesting and fun to talk to. Western
culture is bad enough for white people. It is corrupting. In my experience
Asians who spoke perfect English and adopted “western” culture seemed
unpleasant, arrogant and slimy.
