发帖数: 12977 | 3 吝啬了一把，没交钱参加比赛，就直接去这个路线跑，比比赛晚出发一个小时多。不过
，一点也不后悔，这个小比赛的参加人数很少，就是参加比赛了，也都是自己跑，完全
没有比赛气氛。昨天晚上左大腿的hamstring还很疼，临睡前专门roll了好几分钟。
time trial在长滩海港的海滨多用途跑道，开始两侧都是沙滩，海水卷打在沙滩上，乌
鸦乌鸦的海鸟在边上静静地行注目礼。
天气开始不错，多云，后来太阳出来了开始有点热，毕竟我八点多才开始跑的。
预期我希望能平均pace跑进7分钟，自己有点希望能否跑进6：50。 结果8迈就有点累了
，最后三迈有生不如死的感觉，腿成了瓶颈，心跳反而下降了，push不上去。从第11迈
开始，我就打退堂鼓，心里说，算了，就当成10m race吧，后来不停地想，算了，就当
成11迈race。。。
好不容易坚持到13.1迈，完全没有冲刺，最后的0.1迈是全程最慢的，8分钟多了。
总计用时一小时31分钟36，结果是7分钟整（6：59）的平均pace，
split 如下：

，还是想时不时的借借dvd，于是改了plan，变成了free的instant straming+$7.99的
dvd，收到confirmation发现billing history已经charge $7.99了，才意识到netflix
已经改了促销，一次一张dvd已经是额外的plan了，是要收钱的，不过想想就这个月想
看，算了，一星期借个两三张吧，毕竟家里的xbox和ps3都闲着也是闲着，看碟多好；
以前用过一次free trial，其实觉得还不错，还能借DVD，虽然片源还是有限；
总之netflix可以作为pps，风行等神马的补充，不过作为我个人情况没必要坚持一年都
用，什么时候心血来潮了可以用一个月，$7.99而已，不过要是instant streaming+
1dvd（$7.99+7.99）这个plan觉得有点贵了 |

以前常听讲座时候，不时看到招募流浪汉做试验的，有些照片令人发指，比如在身上插
满几十几百个探针检测皮下微环境在营养摄入后代谢的变化，只要你给流浪汉吃饱喝足
外加几个小钱过后买毒品用，没人关心你丫人道还是邪恶。当然找癌症病人试验新的
chemo也很容易，这就不说了。
但是要找正常人群干点什么，那TMD简直太难了，个个都怕死的要命还动不动就爱给律
师打电话。所以很多试验基本没法在米国人身上做。有一阵子同位素文章看得多，大多
都是在欧洲做的试验，虽然对转基因很排斥，欧洲人对同位素倒是很喜欢，尤其是北欧
那帮牲口，放射性同位素都能找到健康人群自愿来做小白鼠，而且所要的报酬不过是用
来补偿请假不上班当天的工资。
所以类似这次转基因大米trial外包的事也很正常，既要在普通儿童人群做，又最好不
是在人人都营养过剩的地区，还得是对转基因不那么排斥的国家，你要在印度做俺当然
很欢迎，不过可能那儿出来的数据没人敢用，所以在中国做俺觉得也很正常，毕竟从设
计到操作没有任何证据表明会有什么危害。 |

faith, and that a verdict might not be reachable. I think it is normal,
even if it leads to no verdict. But making a public gesture and inviting
media scrutiny? I think the juror might be out of line.
I heard on TV people would solicit jurors's opinions after trials, and
their words could be used to appeal. The lawyer's advice to jurors: shut
up. It seems jurors could get into trouble if they choose to be careless.

挺冤枉的, I-70高速上开累了下203出口在Foristell停在一加油站旁的杂货店旁休息了二
十分钟, 回高速时被警察拦在高速上要搜, 怀疑我有大麻! 结果大麻自然是搜不到的, 警
察愤怒地给了我两个ticket! 一说我在加油站旁stop sigen右拐没给灯; 二说我右拐上高
速匝道(onto east entrance)的时候failed to keep single lane (cross over center
lane)! 天哪, onto east entrance的地方可是右拐的corner啊! 哪来的center lane啊!
实在是不愿就此罢休, 太冤了! 不知有什么好办法?
