toe。

It would be very difficult indeed to
maintain a toe running stride for 2 miles to a 10K。

regular/goofy好像和左撇子/右撇子无关。
J turn

I totally agree with "brave", but not "increase your speed".
the reason is:LZ is not able to link turn. Higher speed can only make him
nervous. And when you nervous, you forget the correct way to turn.
My suggestion: find a wider and relative flat slope and practice your "weak"
toe side turn. when you feel comfortable with toe, you can link the toe and
heel together. You will catch your edges at first. But be patience, and be
BRAVE.

did it say why you need to drag your toe?
I think the key is stay balance when you return. To stay balanced on a fast
in-coming serve, you should take least amount of steps, dragging your toe
may prevent you from taking that extra step as well as get a better balance,
so it should help. Against slow wsn serves, if you have time to take 2 or
even 3 steps and still remain balance before you strike the ball, if that's
the case it's not necessary to drag the toe.
