Gear Review: blueseventy Helix Wetsuit
Wetsuits are one of the larger gear investments a budding triathlete can
make; behind a bike and/or race wheels (if, of course, you fall into USAT's
median income range of approximately $108,000), it is likely a wetsuit will
be your most expensive piece of gear.
With that kind of money on the line, then, it stands to be prudent when it
comes to selection. Much like when it comes to proper triathlon bikes and

racket, you'll want it to be more heavy, more head heavy, more stiff,
thicker beam, and bigger head size. |

Thinner will make you feel better if you are used to multi/syn: 17 is thin

K****D 发帖数: 30533 | 14 Usually 12+oz, 95-100 sq in racket will feel more demanding than
12.5 oz, 90 sq in racket.
Smaller racket face == less air friction.
Small racket face == thinner beam can achieve higher stiffness.
(i.e., to be same stiff, MP rackets have to be thicker, which
causes even more air friction for topspin.)

|
x*d 发帖数: 1696 | 17 Not really, it's true the strength comes from twisting and weight transfer,
etc for both. But single-handed is more like a thinner and longer spring,
you have to stretch a bit earlier ahead of time to be able to gain full
strength; Double-handed is more like a thicker but shorter spring, you will
need to position precisely.
So what really needed to focus for single-handed is timing, whereas the top
priority for double-handed is the position or footwork. |

Gauge: Standard U.S. measure of string thickness. Most tennis strings are 15
-17 gauge, with a few specialty strings being 18-20 gauge. The higher the
gauge number, the thinner the string and typically measured in millimeters.
Half-gauges are represented by the letter L, for "light". A 15L is between a
15 and 16 gauge. Thinner strings offer greater feel, power and spin
potential than a thicker string of the same material and construction.
