总结:
1. 装safety cover 不难,不过要2个人, 要买对钻头, 技术含量不高, 可惜我们是在这
版上没受到鼓舞,没敢DIY, 其实完全可以搞定. 好在找到便宜的(150), 前面几个开口
就是300.
2. winterize swim pool 也能DIY, 特别是看了一遍怎么做以后更是有信心,
3. winterize swim pool 要早做就简单多了, 我们因为一些原因拖到现在, 游泳池里
已经结了厚厚一层冰了,管子也冻住了. |

穿swimming diaper 吗？
因为我看过disposible swimming diaper的介绍，说只兜住固体，不管尿。我觉得似乎
这种泳衣已经可以兜住大便了。不知道想的对不对？
还有一个原因不想穿disposible swimming diaper：她现在的泳衣因为里面已经有那两
层，穿起来屁股那里已经有点鼓鼓囊囊的，再穿IDAPER，就更鼓了。 |

I am looking for a swim school for my 3-4 year old boy in Texas. The one I
found is a group class (2 kids per teacher), 30 mins every week, in door
warm poor, about $28 each time. Is this a reasonable price? My son doesn't
swim at all now, so it would be his first swim lesson. Thank you very much

1 coach, so for 30mins class you swim 15mins per kid.But according to my
son you can watch other kids swim to figure out how you should use that
technique (things others did right, wrong, etc.) Also I think they get a
needed break. Private class cost double also you get double minutes. It's
kind of intense for 30mins non-stop for young kids. At that time he is

pool条件比较好的，比较适合早晨游泳的（业余爱好者）。
有几个问题请教一下
1. for outdoor swimming pools
如果不是year-round heated的，是否早上游泳太冷了？
如果是heated，是否就比较暖和？
2. indoor and heated swimming pool 是不是就很好了？
另外，有朋友住在fosters landing 或marline cove吗？这两个小区的游泳池怎么样？
另外，综合居住环境还好吗？

这种游泳队都是year round的，就是每年大约开学前停止训练2-4周，平时不间断训练
。我们家两个从3，4岁就在游泳队里了，一般每周都游1个小时，每周3次左右，经常参
加组织的各种swim meet, 很锻炼孩子的身体和意志，是个非常好的运动。
你上他们网站就能知道怎么参加，通常要让你去try out一下，看看孩子的水平能分到
哪个组，不同的组水平不同，收费也不同，不是按年龄分，是按水平分。训练时间他们
也都有时间表，你可以看看合适不合适你。这种都是group训练的，特别是FCST这种人
比较多的大队，所以每次训练时每道里的人数会比较多，要有心理准备，跟private
lesson没法比，不过他们通常是circle swim的，所以一个小时下来运动量还是蛮大的。
如果蝶泳不会，可能会分在比较初级的level，要有心理准备。稍微高点level的，都要
求4种合格的泳姿都要会，也就是要能游IM，就是4种泳姿的个人混合泳。

listening to the advice here, I plan to run three times a week next week,
plus two weekend swimming.
Currently, I run 3.5miles a time, swim 1mile a time. Does anybody know that

Instructors are students from U of C.
He is becoming fearless gradually, but still can't swim even 1meter. I guess
I need to bring him to swimming pool more often. However I am not that good

swim long time ago. My guess is that either the class your 5 years old took
was too big, the level of swimming skill were too spread out or the
instructors did not conduct their lesson properly. As a result, your kid
did not get the proper attention and did not progress as planned.
You don't have to be an expert to teach basic beginner freestlye but you
will need to have patient and a lesson plan. In addition, the wate |

我属于基本上不怎么会游泳的那种，没有童子功。以前的运动是打篮球，后来因为受伤
太多，膝盖坏了，跑步多了都不行。所以一多年前决定下水。觉得游泳会对膝盖有好处。
我在Y找了个私教，前前后后学了16节课，主要学自由泳，还有一点点仰泳，踢腿，
FLIP TURN什麽的。最后一节课时，正好碰上Y的MASTER TEAM训练，看得我很羡慕.和
MASTER SWIMMING的教练聊了聊。她极力鼓励我加入，我说我刚学游泳，她说没有关系
，她的队里有和我相似的学生，一年就游得很好，然后指给我看，比如她，他，她。。
。BLAHBLAH。
就这样我上了船。很幸运，我的“游泳生涯”的第一个教练是非常好的教练，没有她的
鼓励和调教我绝对坚持不了一年。有很多MASTER SWIMMING的教练每次训练只会给
SWIMMERS布置SETS，而不会根据学员的程度来调整。而她正好相反。
我们队里，我的基础和程度是很菜的，即使经过一年后和他们比还是一样。队里共有40
/50人，大部分老美是有童子功的，很多是高中校队的，还有几个牛人原来是游泳牛校

MASTER SWIMMING.另外价格在不同的城市可能会不同。MASTER SWIMMING TEAM也不一定

910xt用了很久，姿势一直识别的特别准，后来升级了一次固件，姿势全识别乱套了。
之后又升级了一次，到现在都能准确识别了。
garmin swim应该也有固件升级吧。

fremont high的open swim这周要关了。
我家下周要转去室内游了，昨天娃在那游说开始下水还是有点冷。
教练能不下水都不下水了，有些教练多穿了点。。。
6岁的年纪本来就是练体能啊。。。你还想干啥？
学蝶泳啥的估计还早吧，没点腹肌游不起来。
动作应该咋样他应该也知道，但是不标准多半体力不够。
好吧，微群灌了一上午，就学到这些。呵呵。
btw，价钱方面我不知道，不过volunteer应该都要。
你可以去santa clara swim club问问，比较下。 |

发帖数: 1875 | 31 今年就参加了4次 open water training， open water race 倒是有5次。今天在
Ironman 的swim course 参加了 2.4 miles open water swimming. 成绩是倒数的那种
。2小时9分钟。
好歹比 Ironman cut-off 快了10分钟。今天一战，彻底扫清了公开水域看浮漂的障碍。
另外我是不慌不忙的游下来。马上投入自行车比赛没有如何问题。
明天参加90 miles 公路自行车比赛，计划进入4个小时。 去年前600名的成绩都在22
MPH之上。这个比赛容许draft, 所以大家都比较快。第一名拿走3万美元的奖金。如果
能进入4小时， 那我明年的Ironman biking 目标就比较appressive 了。 |

昨天按计划游开水。本来因为有防浪堤，lake michigan的这一段水
一直都是比较平静。结果前天下了暴雨，昨天气温骤降20多，然后起风。
下水的时候还好，温度也很暖和。游出去1/4M，水温骤降，浪也变大。
大概3feet多，晚上回家看电视说有5feet的浪，估计是在防浪堤外面。
总之是迎着浪游，感觉非常吃力。试着在波谷，波峰，上升或者下降换气。
感觉都不是太好。或者是因为有浪的情况游得少，很不习惯。挣扎游出去
1/2M到达浮标，然后回头。顺着浪游的时候感觉轻松很多，顺着下来的
时候很快，一时错觉自己也游得不错嘛。
下面是些总结，希望有帮助。
1. 有浪的情况下，望风很重要。7，8stroke出去可能就被浪弄得偏
得一塌糊涂了。在波峰上望风比较好，看得比较清楚。
2. 个人感觉泳池用的小泳镜在开水有浪的情况不是特别好用，一是视野

钉子,要订紧,尺寸要合适. 本来满自信,可一和一女同事说起,她认为,300块让人装不是
太贵,自己装不容易. 我就不知道是人家有钱,所以不把300当一回事,还是女生不愿自己
干民工活.
