工具能搞定的. 我试过很多牌子,sears crap man的工具其实很垃圾,稍微扭矩大一点套
筒就会碎,我拧碎了几个之后就彻底扔掉了.事实上walmart卖的stanley的工具质量非常
好,而且价钱便宜.我至今还在用7年前买的一套40多pcs的stanley. 另外一般这些set给
你的主要都是3/8"的套筒和扳子,有些有1/2"的扳子也特别短根本干不了啥活.我的1/2"
的工具都是一个套筒一个套筒单独买的,虽然贵但是确实结实.
你买多少pcs的工具包其实根本就没啥用,修过几次你就知道,一个200pcs里面真正有用
的也就那么20件,其余的都是给你锻炼身体用的.里面一半的SAE套筒,除非你修美国老爷
车否则八百年也用不上.
我感觉工具的多样性是最重要的,比如box end wrench就得有各种,包括那种死的,带正
反棘轮的,还有脖子能动的.很多时候某些比较tricky的位置得用各种combination.钳子

我一直都挺懒的,懒得写,懒得说。
但今天我想记录一下这份感激；
带Stanley 一年快三个月了,做一年零三个月的母亲已经让我身心俱疲,才真正体会到母
亲几十年含辛茹苦的不易, 爱是多不容易. 母亲的爱孤独而坚强. 母亲的爱出于身心，
历经沧桑。母亲的脚步很沉重,却不得不坚持走下去.亲身对“任重道远”的注释，人生
不释为金钱不释为健全，人生的公义在于教会无论怎样的你去爱，怎样是幸福。不论富
裕、不论贫疾、不论自私、不论偏见与傲慢，不去爱焉知被爱。人生不完整不代表不公
义，你的不完整教会这样的你去爱。
补充:一直没有把宝宝送回国，认为神选择我作为stanley 的母亲一定有他的原因。 |

有一天Morgan Stanley旗下的CAF(就是跟踪中国A股那个
Closed-End Fund)突然间莫名其妙掉了>-10%,到$17.xx，
后来好像说是有传闻说整个Morgan Stanley都可能出问题了。
至于母公司真的破产了，旗下的Fund怎么
定价和是否继续交易这些具体的运作我就不清楚了。 |

小弟拿到这些offer，都是IT的job. base salary几乎都一样（110k-120k)，UBS答应第
一年给10k bonus（因为join太晚），其他都没有说bonus。本人倾向去barclays,因为
有四周vacation+full tuition reimberse.但是听人说barlays公司偏小，经常裁人，
我还是h1b,打算办绿卡的，好怕怕啊......
IB工作的各位大大们给小弟点意见啊，不甚感激:)

会实实在在创造财富的。我做了一件衣服社会上就多了一件衣服。而华尔街那些什么
Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs 的， 他们是干什么的？就是把钱从一个人口袋里转
到另外一个人口袋里，钱还是那些钱，对社会产生了什么东西，除了对公司自己，对其
他什么人作出了贡献？你不管那些石油公司多少黑，至少我加的油时他们提供的。就算
街上卖毒品的人，拍色情电影的人，至少也创造一点东西的。
现在人人，特别是亚洲人，都抢着去做那什么Investment Banker， 什么Quant, 那你
想过没有，谁来研究人类的未来，生命的意义？ 要是柏拉图，孔子，牛顿，爱英斯坦
，这些人也都整天想着怎么进Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, 每天想着今年Bonus是
七万还是八万，买个MP3 Player 是什么牌子，世界还会有今天吗？
以上的那些钻破头皮上Law School的人也适用。
这一点我倒是很佩服美国学生，很多人觉得受不了华尔街和Law Firms 的 Ethics. 而

发帖数: 4059 | 43 最近在看家具，因为时间紧张，不太可能飞去东部家具集散地买，所以主要就近看。预
算两万左右。三室一厅。
不太懂家具，根据网上排名去店里看了stanley， Thomasville，还有ethen allen这些中档牌子
，觉得不过如此，抽屉用夹板不是全实木，柜子门也有对不齐的，柜子背板很薄。粗看
尚可，细看毛病一堆，对不起这个价格和名气。目前做工上稍微入眼一点的是一个新牌
子的amish家具厂，life time warranty,但是价格比较高，买全套不现实，只订了一套
最便宜的餐桌椅。大概3500的样子。
请版上大牛支支招，有什么牌子是做工非常好用料实在而且价格适中的（不要比
stanley之类的贵）？
如果要控制预算，又不想降低品质，以下哪个方案更好：
1，只买必需的大件，其他逐年添置
2，餐厅客厅用较好的，卧室用略逊一筹的（比如床架，好坏差别不大，床垫更重要）
3，其他，请支招 |

换刨刀啥的。
我们屌丝从HFT买，到是也能跑出刨花来，就是费点儿劲，另外跑出来的平面不够光滑
，砂纸打一下到是也能用。 |

但今天我想记录一下这份感激；
带Stanley 一年快三个月了,做一年零三个月的母亲已经让我身心俱疲,才真正体会到母
亲几十年含辛茹苦的不易, 爱是多不容易. 母亲的爱孤独而坚强. 母亲的爱出于身心，
历经沧桑。母亲的脚步很沉重,却不得不坚持走下去.亲身对“任重道远”的注释，人生
不释为金钱不释为健全，人生的公义在于教会无论怎样的你去爱，怎样是幸福。不论富
裕、不论贫疾、不论自私、不论偏见与傲慢，不去爱焉知被爱。人生不完整不代表不公
义，你的不完整教会这样的你去爱。

一直没有把宝宝送回国，认为神选择我作为stanley 的母亲一定有他的原因。 |
