苏联解体已经过去了四分之一世纪，关于解体的原因有各种各样的解释。其中一个被广
泛传播的解释是苏联经济的失败：僵化的计划经济使苏联的经济萎靡不振，1980年代病
入膏肓，无法和美国竞争，无法再持续，因而滑向自我溃败。
1980年代的苏联经济究竟有多么糟糕呢？如果去查一查来自权威机构的经济数据（包括
西方的机构），结果却并非如此简单。苏联在1980年代经济的确增长乏力，但并没有出
现衰退，在1980年至1989年的十年期间，没有一年出现过经济下滑，每年都有经济增长
，只是增长幅度比较小，低的年份是2%上下，高的年份是5%左右，平均年增长率是3%（

这个数字的原始出处是Beevor的"Stalingrad: The Fateful Siege"，他说他是在俄国
看的解密档案，呵呵。他还说第六集团军里面有5万前红军士兵为德国人打仗，其中一些是战俘，
一些是志愿者。我很怀疑这个英国历史学家有没有基本的数字概念。一万三就是一个整师，
NKVD的杀人效率估计远超6集了。5万人就是6集的1/4~1/6，就算俄国人愿意，德国人敢吗？
不怕毛子兵变？
按照网上的一个review，In September the NKVD blocking detachments detained
more than 1,218 men who were retreating from the field of battle, 21
were executed, 10 arrested, and the rest went back military units in the
front.
