is indeed a problem. but MS is making 'Smart Client' also which is
similiar to java 'web start'. because of the advantage of MS have
shipping CLR with OS, that one may succeed. deep in the heart MS

market to their platform even tighter. |

as a read-intensive, cache like database. I am still using Oracle to do complex
data processing tho, but I can avoid overcharge by oracle by using mysql, thats
why I like this cute thing..:))
Besides, even with buffering catche, I still dout Oracle' speed, that only apply
to similiar query, and limited by your buffer size too..:) |

But I know there is a mechanism about cache coherent problems
If any P want to update, it should send a request to owner of the data, the owner
will invalid any other peers' copies and send "Yes or No" to P.
then P update it locally. If any p query the data from the owner, the owner then
will update the copy first and then send out the updated information..
It is similiar as the snoopy cache coherent problem. |

fast SSD like intel X25/18, OCZ Vertex, your SSD performance will go down
instead of going up.
1.XP still can sleep with fat32
2. I have installed XP/win7 in many SSD, including low speed or high speed
intel X18-m G2, the SSD performanc between XP and Win7 is very close. If you see big differnce, sth is wrong.

blueray rip ts file. The video would stuttered, sound borken. Turns out it's
not the video card power nor CPU, it's the harddrive. try moving it to
local hard drive. not over the network or anything.
