发帖数: 4816 | 7 我的partner Tom和我在小组赛中，四战全胜，以小组第一名进入下一轮的semi-final
。我俩在semi-final中，6：1拿下，进入Final。感觉是我们的对手还没有进入状态，
被我俩打蒙了，在我俩4：0领先之后，他俩才拿了我俩一个game。好像是有这两场同时
进行的semi-final比赛的部分video。
Grey大侠那对也是6:1在semi-final的对抗中，率先进入Final的。
在小组赛中，我和Tom的第二场比赛中，开始都很不在状态。这是因为我俩在打完第一
次比赛后，都去做了第二场比赛的referee，结果等我俩重回赛场来进行我俩的第二场
比赛，我俩状态全无，开始1：4，落后，然后2：5落后，之后在对方拿到set point之
后，我俩大难不死，重新找回感觉，慢慢开始追上5：5，之后的Tiebreak我俩在5：1领
先之后，心情放松，这一放松，情况又来了，被追上了6：6，之后是比分交替上升和领
先，双方都有赢这个比赛的计划，最后我俩幸运，14：12拿下了这个有惊有险，波澜起
伏的一场小组赛。

spending, therefore benefits equipment companies, such as
AMAT. My last reading in this sector (a couple of months ago) said
that the semi industry CAPEX was still subdued. But I think this is a |

Just see the
performance of AMAT, VSEA and other equipment makers. I think the reason is

still a lot of spare capacity in semi industry, and people just don't wanna
invest more.
On other hand, memory makers seem perform well. Traditionally, memory makers
are major customers for semi equipments. I don't know why semi equipment
makers still

集微网消息，据台湾媒体报道，SEMI近日更新其全球晶圆厂预估报告，并预估在2017～
2020年间，全球将有62座新的晶圆厂投入营运。这62座晶圆厂中，只有7座是研发用的
晶圆厂，其他晶圆厂都是量产型厂房。以地理区来看，中国大陆在这段期间将有26座新
的晶圆厂投入营运，占新增晶圆厂的比重高达42%。美国则有10座，台湾为9座。
按照晶圆厂生产的产品型态来看，32%的新增晶圆产能将用做晶圆代工、21%为存储器、
11%为LED。其他36%则分别用于LED、电源管理、微机电系统(MEMS)、逻辑芯片、模拟芯
片与光电元件。
SEMI预估明年半导体设备产值将达到4,340亿美元，年增9.3%，并预估未来全球有62座
新晶圆厂将投产，对全球半导体设备厂注入新活水。
反观美国和台湾，未来四年投入新建晶圆厂则在九到十座，不到中国大陆的一半，虽然
也为本地半导体设备厂带来可观的商机，但可预见未来四年，全球半导体设备商都会加
速在中国大陆卡位，分食庞大的采购商机。

最合理的。而且最适合美国的，因为澳大利亚也是当年的frontier国家，是有长久
的拥枪文化的。澳大利亚政策就是手枪，还有semi-auto步枪全部成为管制枪械，
需要非常严格的审查。
这个政策在澳大利亚非常成功，也就是说你想拥手枪和semi-auto步枪可以，但是要
通过很多很繁琐的paperwork和审查，基本上经过这一番审查，去国安局工作也可以了。
但是只要你够坚定，够清白，还是可以拥手枪和semi-auto步枪。Bolt Action步枪
不受管制，因为基本没人用来杀人，这个在澳大利亚也是不管制的。
澳大利亚也是通过一次重大枪击屠杀事件作为契机，通过了这个政策。事实证明
非常成功，过去十年澳大利亚枪击杀人事件几乎为0，大规模枪击屠杀为0。而真心

司机活蹦乱跳，semi司机死掉的。新闻里还有飞机坠毁追尾xc60，沃尔沃司机没事儿的
报道。

bone，没受任何伤。

：q7是最近才注意的，看16款的安全测试还好吧，17款的还没测所以没有数据。安全性
：volvo的口碑更好，但是看国内国外论坛上的讨论，16款的质量很不稳定，用户和

POSITION OPEN TILL FILLED，就是字面意思。其实是句废话：没FILL的可不还OPEN
着--除非被DEAN收回去了。我所见一般是这样：DEADLINE到了，COMMITTEE的同志们纷
纷行动起来看FILE。看见亮眼的就留个记号。几天之后开会讨论提个几十人出来，然后
大家再去细看。过几天再开会吵出123456789，然后就交给系主任打电话邀面试了。这
个过程是非常快的，一般一两个星期。你寄晚了人家多办INTERVIEW LIST都搞好了，
除非你特别扎眼并认识当地教授，或者之前几百个申请者实在不入流，否则没人会看你
的材料了。
CV和推荐信是最重要的。能否进入几十人的SEMI-SHORT LIST，基本全看CV。CV里面最
重要的是PUBLICATION LIST和AWARDS。另外，如果CV不显眼，但在当地有老师推荐你

从那边打来的电话。
面我的是另一人口大国的，Title好像是tech architecture lead之类，之前上
linkedin偷瞄了一下背景，将近二十年经验吧，但没看出来有前端相关的经验。
面试是structured，也就是拿着一堆问题隔着电话问，电话声音质量非常差劲，应该是
IP电话或者类似LiveMeeting之类的，中间还断线两次，面试官的口音各位自己脑补吧
，加上杂音问题，使得我每一个问题都要重复一遍以确保自己听明白了。没多久高潮来
了：
面试官：There is a div with a width of 185, padding of 10, and margin of 20.
What is the width of the div?
此题明显是个陷阱啊，没提box model，没说后一个width的定义，于是我就把content-
box和border-box说了一下，然后分别说明答案。然后他问，shouldn't the margin be

镇上的GP（General practitioner family physician）医生持全科执照，当然想拿到
这个执照并非易事。他们可以申请在医院工作，也可以自开诊所，两者相比，自开诊所
相对更轻松一些，至少不用上白、晚班，而且只工作8小时，即周一至周五（诊金每次
45）。若遇上周六、周日，可电话挂急诊，镇上的护理中心有医务人员处理，诊金稍贵
一点，为每次60。
值得一说的是，无论是急诊中心的医生，或是诊所的GP医生，都是对症开处方，他们并
不直接给药。一般开1-2种，毕竟是药三分毒，不会多开。然后患者凭方子去药房（一
般每个小镇都有十来间药房，由政府统一管理）领药付钱。若你的药费每年超过100，
可寄去政府申请报销，若少于100，就算自己的了，因为数目实在太小。

后大约8000拿到。进semi-finalist的psat和sat成绩应该都不错，选finalist和拿奖比
较主观，看cv. 我这高中一直年级第一的，不管是不是亚裔，最后都是藤校，但进semi
-finalist和finalist的并不一定进。有些成绩很好的没有考psat,就拿不到这奖学金，
但最后还是进藤。所以这个奖学金的分量有多重不好说。 |

semi (major line)几个头牌INTC/TXN/ADI 也就是个market performance
semi equipment被打压的很厉害，比如AMAT/KLAC/LRCX/VSEA等等 |

这两家公司，都是做Semi Test Tool，特别是DRAM/Flash。现在内存价格涨得这么猛，
不过好像他们的生意却是很差，特别是Memory这一块。为什么哪？他们两家的技术相比
，那个好啊？据说这个Teradyne从Verigy手里抢走了Qualcomm的一个大单。

个合格的工程师自己公司要培养三年，就算是有经验的，招进来也要一年左右才能上手
。amazon那种血汗工厂 semi不可能 不出几年就要关门大吉。
