我觉得需要scalability的部分可以看作是优化
绝大多数job/task都不需要什么scalability
等需要scalability的时候再调整
简单版做事方式就这样
你看ejb一开始也是事无巨细，考虑得很周全
spring一开始就一单机版的ejb，根本不考虑分布式
没有scalability可言，爆火，因为大多数server单机就可以搞定了
大部分corp it智力就这样 |

比较方案的时候，可行性是根本，都可行的情况下考虑成本。可行性里面需要考虑到
performance，availability,scalability，工期还有系统的复杂度。这些都是讨论的
基础，你不能简单的说“你这方案比scalability比不上分布式，比响应比不上硬实时
系统”。没有方案是完美的，我们现在只是在给定的案例下面讨论两个不同的实现。如
果背离这个约定，那就又成为毫无意义的口水帖了。
因为有些人根本不仔细看别人帖子，我把2个不同方案的实现，大家提及的疑问及解答
，按照我的理解复述一下，也请魏老师和goodbug指正。当然了，我主要复述一下魏老
师的方案，毕竟分布式的大家多少都了解一点。
主机配置，4个10G/s网卡，全双工80G/s，对CPUS没特殊要求，内存没提，不过现在服
务器上到90+CPUS，36+G内存也就是5万美金，魏老师声称1万的主机还算靠谱。

数据库方案也不是阿里给的，阿里帮忙做的无非是数据拆分。查询和订购的拆分，数据
库双系统拆分（多半是分票），这都是解决Scalability问题。当然就如我老所预测的
那样，只要不异步订票前后分离
都是不能彻底解决问题的。
所谓Scalability，不是多上几台机器就能解决的，能解决就不叫Scalability问题了。
云解决的只是Elasticity的问题。 |

一个社会还只有几个、十几个城邦那么大的时候(春秋战国时代)，按分布式系统搞个
master(你的君）节点、一堆slave（你的臣）节点是个高效可行的方案。
可你这个方案不scalable.
等人类社会越来越庞大，到了Internet这个上千万上亿这个scale，你丫还搞什么狗屁
master-slave方案就只有破产的份，唯一的答案就是IP协议最大（法律最大、没有哪个
节点/人是必需倚靠的）这个协议栈方案。
等你300年后把人都杀光，又回退到地球上只有几万人的状态，再搞你这个non-
scalable master-slave方案不迟。 |

是除了os就是jvm这个平台
py的很多pkg是c写的，其实就是捆死在os上
这对于jvm为代表的跨平台工业界来说
是很难接受的，jvm上所有的scalability都不是问题
其实scalability主要是看计算的依赖，而不是语言相关
很多脚本scalability不行是他们根本不提供这种并行的机制
连thread都不提供，本地并行都困难，更何况是远程并行
这就是涉及到网络和分布式了，你们对于语言和平台的理解还是不够 |

说一下SVN有那些功能，然后问他你的desgin是否要全部cover这些功能。（一般情况，
一个面试的时间里面不可能把所有细节都cover到，别人会让你就某一个细节详细问的
）要是这些功能你不知道，你可以让人家解释一下。这个过程，是你了解需求的过程。
需求了解之后，你要做一些假设，比如这个系统是一个小系统，那就不需要对
scalability做考虑；大系统需要考虑scalability和performance（你可以先给出一个
可行方案，然后再改进；但是你一开始就提到你已经考虑这个问题了；这和后面别人反
问你scalability和performance怎么处理，你再改进是两回事了）
假设完之后，你需要把这个系统大体框架及各个部分的功能解释一边。比如，你的SVN
就压根没提到处理数据库的模块。。。
然后对主要模块进行类定义，函数定义。这里的定义，一定要cover到前面的需求。要
当心，在这个过程中，面的人完全会要一个新的功能，然后你的desgin解决不了。这个

就答应发简历过去。N很快，过了两天就找了个组来电面。
我啥都没准备，感觉很糟糕。问了个放水的atoi，结果
网上写，出了一堆的bug，我后来放进eclipse，自己都觉得
脸红。光compiler error就有5，6处。
本以为肯定挂了，谁知recruiter说反应还不错，但是那个position
filled了，给我换个组。于是换个组重新电面，这次不敢怠慢，
一个周末学习了一下cc150，看了一点精华区，至少还有10道题
不会做，也就那样了，来不及。
电面主要探讨了一下java concurrency和NoSQL，我吹嘘了一下
high scalability，high availablity的一些经验。问了个boggle
的算法，和高用户数得分的排序如何设计。前者整得我又是一头汗，
虽然我知道用trie，一些优化的搜索算法不是很熟悉，对方也没为难
我。高在线用户这些我就比较熟悉，回答得还好。

发帖数: 1453 | 42 水平是低一些。有过实际接触的都知道。主要是牛人比较少。米国公司一般来说，20个
人里面有个小牛不为过。国内这个比例至少是50以上。
很多人盲目神话scalability, 这个东西花时间慢慢做上来，不是特别大的问题。不是
火车票那种赶鸭子上架，公司都是从小到大发展起来的，从来没听说倒在scalability
上的。要真论硬功夫，latency比scalability都更困难一些。而且整体架构只要最上面
有几个领头的就行。但是整个产品的质量，feature的丰满程度，运维的自动化以及成
本，需要一批小牛在下面填着，这方面国内差不少。
我个人感觉，一般来说国内的超牛大概等于米国中牛，如此类推吧。 |
