Fact checkers at the New York Times need to get busy, because the NYT blog
“The Caucus” has make a whopper of a false claim about GOP presidential
contender Mitt Romney.
Here is what NYT blogger Michael D. Shear wrote:

Romney drubbing their candidate in last week's debate.
First there was the "How Can You Trust Romney?" ad which disputes Romney's
assertion that he is not in favor of a $5 trillion tax cut. It is the ad
which asks, "If we can't trust him here then how could we ever trust him

让他做的事是rule，是legal的。
其实这些都是endogenous的，像Romney这种人，是挑不到他违法的证据的，因为他参与

聪明的有钱的但是有点社会责任感的能看出Romney的这些问题，可是Romney这种做也是
legal的，所以也不能拿Romney怎么样。
就像congress insider trading是不违法的，如果你insider trading是违法的。人
congress member随便insider trading，你能拿他们怎么办？ |

13 台 PBS 老牌新闻主持人的手上。在税的问题上和相关的经济问题上， 相对奥巴马
，Romney 靠自己背景和经济的知识， 对答如流，逻辑很好，经常用 1， 2 ， 3.。。
有一点非常深刻，是如何增加国库的收入，减税，减抵税，减利率， 让小生意能聘请
更多的人，而国家从这些人征收税而增加收入。奥巴马的答案仍然只是减少开支就是收
入。
Healthcare 问题的时候，奥巴马还是老一套，出发点是从底层开始，从他的婆婆说起
，还说起了这全民公保是跟 Romney 的州一样，这给 Romney 又 捉住了痛脚，反驳说
不一样，说是奥巴马一意孤行的结果。有一点肯定的是， Romney 的对华政策不友善，
刚开始就提到了中国，然后中间说如果当了总统，不会再向中国借钱，军费一分钱不减。
Romney 进攻性非常强，加上自己华尔街的背景，对经济的熟悉说赢了奥巴马。好几次
主持想要 Romney 停下来，可是不能制止。但是奥巴马被主持打断了，问主持要多 5
秒钟把话说完。看他的样子，好像很累了。

除了，MITBBS把攻击Romney的文章摆在头版，土共媒体大肆攻击Romney外。没有任何政
治风险！
从华人选票来看，除了极少数思维极端的大陆人外，几乎没有影响。华人来美国，不就
是为了更美好的生活，难道不希望美国未来更美好吗？土共用各种各样不公平的手段取
得一些贸易上的优势，Romney说几句又如何？
Romney有关中国的言语虽然不全对，当作选举语言得了。在满口谎言上，O8不是更胜一
筹吗？
有人断定O8这次选举一定能赢，我看O8一定赢不了。不要说年轻人，亚裔，白人对O8的
热情急剧下降，即使民主党党员，这一次也有一些人会投票给Romney。许多愤怒的选民
这一次投票给Romney，只是为了把O8赶出白宫。这一次的选举结果会让一些人很震撼，

除了2008经济崩溃特例，Bush以后的选举大多是激发基本盘的模式，看谁的基本盘肯出
来投票。因为两党基本盘就是几个百分点区别，多弄出点人来投票比什么都管用。
而所谓10%的中间选民就是随大流，看哪派造势占上风就倒向那边。
中间选民这个概念有很大欺骗性，实际上是不关心政治没什么看法的人。毕竟现在社会
现实充满尖锐矛盾，如果还没形成政治看法，那就真是没什么想法的人了。这种人最容
易被媒体造势宣传在最后时刻所左右。所以只要把基本盘搞high了，声势造足，不怕中
间选民不跟风。
Romney所谓tax return根本就是一个O8媒体发明的一个骚扰joke。Romney从2002当州长
就把财产blind trust了，交税都是根据税法寻求最小税率，IRS不找他麻烦其他人操什
么心。以前总统选举公开多少tax return都是随便，没人关心。
Romney这人就是太能赚钱，又不像大门Jobs一样发明什么有型产品，所以遭人恨和怀疑。

out to support him, it is because independents swing to Obama.
Liberals always vote for democrat candidate regardless of what.
conservatives always vote for GOP regardless of what.
All conversatives hate Obama. Romney may not be as conservative as
conservatives want, it will be a much better choice than Obama.
AT the end of day, it is Romney vs Obama, not Romney vs conservative.
