他是从private equity fund出来的，PE的收益的，只要正常的作税（就是说不用
aggressive accounting)，都是 long term capital gain 和 qualified dvd，税率就
是15%. 如果你做别的投资的，比如hedge fund，那很多的收益可能是短期收益和利息
收益，很难做到这么低的税率。或者从股市IPO发财的，都要不能只交15%的税率。如果
你要避税，你就要搞个tax shelter，这个就有灰色的味道了。Romney都不需要tax
shelter，PE fund自动会搞好的。
他的大部分的收入 75% 以上都是 15%税率的，剩下小部分的收益，他随便捐点钱，就
把税率给打下去。
有个基本事实，在美国，你想多交税，都不可能，该交多少就是多少，IRS会自己校正
的。当然你可以给政府捐钱。
另外，想让Romney多交税，很简单，提高tax rate on long term capital gain/dvd。

注意，你需要从你的income里扣掉10% charity重新算，而且需要married filing

刚填了份税表，收入100000，married，没有任何捐款，standard deduction，最后

Even if I donate billions, my legal income tax will still be higher, as top
income tax rate is 35%.
Romney's tax is low because his income is declared as interest through a tax
code loophole.
Firstly, that ridiculous loophole needs to be closed, which Romney of course
won't.
Secondly, Romney is proposing to lower capital gains tax to 0, so his income
tax rate will be an awesome 0% if the loophole stands.
This is the kind of policy you like? LOL. |

人正派，每年都捐不少钱给慈善机构。这次他已经尽了全力，共和党上任何别的人也不

简单分析一下Obama为什么连任了。
有句俗话说，things need to get worse before they get better。改一改来用到选
举上，可以说things need to get worse before people ask for change.
Obama这四年，虽然经济没有大的起色，至少失业率没有比他上任时高多少（+0.1%）。
国债虽然问题很大，但毕竟不是一个草根阶层关心的问题，天天还能过日子，那就得过
且过。
年青人很多找不到好工作，但对共和党也没有太多信任，毕竟一半以上大众的共识是经
济衰退是小布什的错。
所以民调其实还是比较准，两个人旗鼓相当，甚至Romney占一点小优势，本来按常理也
有希望上位。

但是这次回过头来看，即使双方的竞选拉票放到同一水平线上
比如都不campaign，去掉所有probable voters和independent voters，
只算必然投票的选民，Romney也赢不下来，甚至输得更多
实打实的，美国人民选择了Obama，放弃了Romney

romney老黑的基本是0，就算1%吧
latino就算5%吧
48%-6%=42%
我的观点是老黑和latino基本不用算, 就像有人统计诺贝尔奖得主一样，他们一个没有
不过还是给bama加5%可能是好的老黑和latino, 歧视一下romney，不给他加了
