lease有Capitalized Cost或Cap Cost，这个就是简单的selling price. 如果一个车
msrp是2万，那么lease有优惠的时候cap cost可能只有1万8，那么如果你价格谈到1万8
也是可以买到的。
lease有money factor,这个就是interest rate.那么为什么不叫apr呢，因为你并没有
借钱，所以不产生利率，但是lease company把钱给车行后，你确实是用车的形式“借”
了lease company的钱，所以lease company要收你的利息，与apr不同的是，
money factor或lease factor是不需要写在协议里的，因为没有法律要求，那么
0.00345的money factor看起来可能很低，会让人认为是3.45%其实通过换算相当于8.2%
的apr。那么如果你信用再好，可以贷到2%的利息，但是如果一个车没有lease special，
那么money factor固定是0.00345的话，你就要付8.2%的利息如果你坚持lease的话。

往往新车discount非常大的时候，那款车的residual也应该大降，（你买下来将来卖就
知道了）。
但厂商为了鼓励lease还把residual定得虚高。
要我说厂商这种行为是寅吃卯粮。但我们不赚这个便宜白不赚。
就象我当年租过XC90八缸，residual70%多，五万多的车租$470, 真正residual 不可能
卖那个价。
还有MB E350经常discount 一万，residual还60%, 实际不可能。 |

本来主要目标enclave 结果发现感觉还是掌控不了，开不习惯。
感觉mdx开着的感觉好像是最舒服的，但是实在不想买日车。
xc90第一天开的时候感觉相当好，设计的非常好，浅蓝陪白色内饰，遂就主要在其和q7
之间考虑，LD说第一眼坐后排q7觉得天窗的感觉很好，我感觉了一下，好像是q7天窗弧
形的缘故。
第二天试驾xc90，觉得噪音稍微比q7大些，并且加上版上人说的，小马拉大车的问题，
觉得reliablity可能会差些，并且不好还价，实在是感觉难受，我觉得如果和mdx价钱
差不多比较合适，希望这个lease之后再考虑一下它吧。。
第二天就去q7砍价去了，看到网上说最多18%，还有edmund论坛有一哥们在纽约的是
msrp 60k，最后砍到49900，就准备往这个数上砍，相中的一个是
2015 q7 premium plus+warm weather+off road, off road default 有2000的credit
，所以msrp是60420吧好像
最后sell price 50500

地点thousand oaks volvo。
MSRP 44330
white color with proximity and BLIS， protection package。
因为有可能三年后买断，就定了39个月的lease
residual 53%， money factor 0.00016， 好像南加所有问过的dealer都是这个价.
dealer计算的和app leasify算的有些差别 （403），
不过可以接受了。他们考虑到0 at drive off， rebate 好像不是2000.没搞明白怎么
算的。dmv的钱等好像都免了。
最后价格 376.32 + 30.11（tax 8%）=406.43一个月.
zero due at drive off。 前三个月volvo fiance付款，要直到三月底才开始付费。
试过mission viejo的volvo， MSRP45600， 最后砍到451一个月。没从。

简单的说, lease和buy都是付贬值加利息:
lease cost: 买价 – residual value + 利息
buy cost: 买价 – 以后trade-in价格(或者卖给私人) + 利息
一般lease的residual value都比黑心dealer给的trade-in要高, 卖给私人的话, 买车
时交的几千块钱税可就都没了(lease只需要对贬值的那一部分交税), 所以贬值部分
lease更划算一点. 利息部分, lease用的是固定的money factor计算利率, 乘以24相当
于等效APR, 可以和自己贷款能得到的APR比看哪个更划算.
不过三年以上lease的residual value和money factor都很差, 所以要lease尽量在三年
以内. 如果准备开五年以上再转手, 肯定是买下来划算, lease结束后虽然也有买下的
option, 基本不用考虑, 亏死. lease的坏处就是新车贬值最快的前三年都被泥扛了,
传说中的冤大头. 好处是monthly payment低, 比较适合以下几种人: |

时候交，也可能交两次, 一般要几千块)，税，money factor (相当于APR)和保险。
residual value是你砍价的时候用的，你lease的钱等于总价-residual value,
所以砍价的时候要把总价砍下来，把residual value抬上去。
固定的那种广告lease offer价格只适合一款车，一种配置的option，你去dealer那边很
可能那款刚好配成那样的没有货，他们就会给你推荐其他配置，这样就得重新砍价，否则就会
被宰。
另外现在一般限制一年10000迈，超过的一迈两毛钱，还有excess wear and tear,
运气不好可能up to 5000.

mileage正常。。还有就是要比较lease term和financing rate。。如果买的话0% apr。。
然后lease来个0.002的mf。。肯定是买便宜啦。。
还有就是residual value不可以商量的。。是厂商设定的百分比。。然后乘上msrp。。
注意是
msrp。。所以在lease上面谈selling price的时候。。效果是放大的。。你谈下来5%的
价格在你
的payment上显示出10%左右(因为大多数车子三年后值一半左右)的优惠因为residual value =
x% * msrp固定的。
还有lease有个优点就是所有乱七八糟的option都是residualized。。但是如果你买下
来的话。
。很多加的东西到卖的时候对买的人来说都不值钱的。。。

发帖数: 144 | 39 两周前车被撞了，对方责任，保险公司说修理太贵了，应该会给$5700多一些吧。
因为现在手头很紧，但是一年后会好转很多，所以就想找个办法先度过这一年。一直听
说Lease便宜，所以就去两家dealer问了问行情。
目前得到的结果是$5000 down payment（打算从对方保险公司给的钱里出），然后是两
年的lease，每个月差不多$354（已含税），两年后residual 60% MSRP，或者三年的
lease，每个月差不多$313（已含税），三年后residual 53% MSRP。这个报价是基于
2011年的Jetta TDI w/Nav $26,460的报价，如果换成2012的premium不要Nav应该会便
宜一点点吧。因为看到二手的TDI好像挺保值的，dealer给的residual又比较低，所以
目前的打算可能是Lease满了可能会买下这辆车。
第一次Lease，请问大家有什么需要注意的么？
另外，关于TDI breakin，如果车子适应了我和老公其中一个人的驾驶，一年后换另一
个人车子还能再breakin么？

lease的好处简单来说：开新车，不用担心卖旧车，月付相对买车要抵
不好的：有里程限制（你说的10,000/年），lease到期后所有的比较明显的损坏（车身
挂擦，轮胎，刹车过度磨损。。。）你都要掏腰包，另外必须全保。
车子的维护费用2者没有区别，bmw 4年/5w的保修不管买和租你都有享受。
lease的时候需要知道的基本情况
1.不要上来和人谈月供，你不是sales的对手
2.需要知道的：msrp,selling price,money factor(利息率），residual value (车辆
残值after lease)
3.主要砍的是：selling price.money factor和residual value应该是厂商有比较统一
的规定，但不排除dealer会markup,所以还是要掌握行情后与之互砍，要拿到market的
行情。
4.拿到3的所有数据后，代入以下link算出你的月供，和sales给你的比较

lexus and acrua have lower lease residual value than BMW, but the re-sale
value of the those is a lot higher.
for bmw, the lease residual value is kept artificially high to entice ppl to
lease them. so if you were to lease any car, bmw is ur top choice.

mean you can sell at that price to private party nor dealer.
Lease payment = (selling price - residual)/term + (selling price + residual)

你把msrp, sales price, residual%, term 和 money factor全搞清楚了就可以了。现
在lease都挺规范了，这些都会告诉你的，一般不拿monthly payment跟你胡搅蛮缠 |

intentionally raised by the financing company, it's a good idea to lease it
and then buy it. The reason is simple, when the market says the car is only
worth 55% of its original MSRP, the dealer won't be able to sell it at 60%
anyway, so what you saved? an outright (lease residual - actual residual) *
MSRP. A few years ago, it's really common to see subvented lease deal. I don
't know about now. |

发帖数: 90 | 46 因为Lease residual是按MSRP的一个百分比来算，你lease所finance的钱是你谈下来的
before tax - lease residual, 再加上BMW一向比较aggressive的提供lease residual
（百分比比较高），你lease的成本会显著降低。现在经济不好，二手车价格上涨，如
果到lease end的时候经济还是不好，没准儿你trade-in还能赚钱（当然，别count on
it）。
当然坏处是，lease结束你就得换车，如果你想lease结束买下这辆车，那应该是不如一
次性finance划得来。当然如果你想get into a M3 after lease end, then you may
just have a great deal. |

BMW 从来就是Diesel residual 比 gas model 低大约3%.
MB/Audi/VW 也许不一样，但从来没关心过。

residual 是定死的，没有讲的意义，没有人能改residual哪怕是1元，越高证明车越保
值，所以租费就越低，一般是一个百分比然后乘以车的msrp，百分比会根据车型，年份
，和租给你协议的里程数不同而变化。
Net capitalized cost 就是车卖给你的价钱。
money factor是lease用语，相对于买的利息，可以直接换算成利息，比如说finance是
0.9%如果有lease special，那么这个money factor也是相当于finance的0。9%
capital cost reduction 就相当于down payment
lease 分open ended lease和close ended，一般车行是close ended lease，即有定死
的回收价格，客人要付超过miles数的罚金和damage，open ended客人要付实际市场价
值和residual value(卖车时原厂预估保值价值）的区别。
如果经常换车就lease，如果一个车会开5年以上就买。
高档车一般很多lease。

Jeep not dealer.
Give you higher monthly payment is sort of trick.
You should ask them if they match the Jeep official monthly payment with
official residual value, will they give you lower downpayment option...
Remember, leasing a car includes down + monthly payment + residual. |

1). $620 after tax?
2). What's the residual value after 27 months?
Problem on the deal:
1). Money factor too high, I checked, 36 month lease is 0.00149 - if using
this rate, will save her $40/month.
2). Residual looks like 60%, quite low.
That's why monthly pmt is high even though she got a good deal on purchase
price.
Essentially she chose a wrong car to lease (low residual, high money factor)
