renty，最长extend的warrenty不超过一年。
比如你是visa卡，就去visa的网站claim，如果是master就去master的网站，AMEX就去a
mex的网站claim。

今年真是不幸。
年初车被松鼠咬伤，修了 $2700
上个月车风挡被松果砸碎。托板上ilvch推荐的店，$120换好了。
今天下班有追尾了。我在101上，前面full size van突然停车，我就撞上去了。
结果这家伙逃走了。我pull over, 车已经很惨了。发现漏了液体，以为是coolant,就想着趁漏
光之
前开回家。也没报警。一路上发动机温度都正常。
到了local发现方向盘很难打。以为是哪里卡住了。到家之后发现有下面有油，以为是
engine破裂了。仔细看一下，好象是power steering fluid.所以方向盘很难打带觉得Power
steering fluid应该没那么多。事故现场的一大堆液体应该是别的。我猜是windshield
washer.。hood已经打不开了,没法check.

Shopped around, price for extended warranty varies. This was several years
ago cannot remember exact amount but costed me around $900 to extend the
warranty to 100kmile/6yrs whichever comes first. For me, it worth the money.
Got the brake rotor replaced (if no warranty, it would cost $900+ to
replace the rotor alone at the dealer), 2 more yrs free oil change (each

些混凝土人行道要修, 人行道和路之间的树要修剪, owner不做的话,city就收费做, 要
价1000多. 请问有人有经验吗? 这种账单合法吗? 如果实在没法减免, 有推荐的
contractor推荐吗? 因为city要inspect,所以要靠谱一点的.
自己动手干可行吗? 感觉修剪树枝问题不大,但是混凝土要敲掉和重新铺....

person replied and recommended one shop (Zahn Tech). Unfortunately that shop only works on imported cars, and he recommended Michael's auto repair at Redmond.

creek)，服务非常好，强力推荐。我家冰箱坏了，Ron当天晚上就来家帮我做修理（
sears要等几天才有人上门），非常实在的一个人，收费比sears什么的要低很多。虽然
最后我们决定不用他修了去买新的，他仍然很热情的给我们介绍买什么样的新冰箱好。
上周微波炉也坏了（是那种和烤箱连着的）结果Ron就在电话里指导我老公做检查，告
诉我们需要买些什么，在他的指导下，我那个不handy的老公竟然自己修理好了微波炉
，省去了很大一笔开销。 |

realize until the tree was taken down recently. A roofing company has
quoted us $425 to repair several shingle panels. Does it sound like a
reasonable price?
If mold treatment needed that would be addinital charge for sure (hopefully
we don't need, fingers crossing....).
We are waiting for more quotes from other companies and could definitely use
some advice here as always :)

Heard that Willey Honda at Bountiful has a good reputation as a car dealer,
but really not sure if they are honest at repair.
If your car still runs, I'd say the key is to have at least two stores check
it out and give you an estimate about what's wrong and how much it will
cost to fix.

2012年10月找他们把整个冷暖系统全换了，从oil的换成了heatpump。换完之后有2个主
要问题：1）一间bedroom完全没有了冷暖气，当时没有发现。结果需要冬天加电炉，夏
天加窗式空调，平时都不愿进这间屋。后来我到楼下看了看，有段废弃的duct就扔在那
儿，没有接到主duct上。2）当时electrical panel没有空间了，就把连接cloth dryer
的breaker断掉，接到heat pump上了。当时说下次来加个subpanel，或者再交1500换掉
整个panel。
结果交钱走人以后就没有然后了，怎么跟他联系都不理了，一开始接电话说忙以后打回

发帖数: 35582 | 50 这次去Seattle的一大收获就是Tacoma的REI找到了jetboil的repair kit，带一个
ignitor组件和炉头的replacement o-rings。花了10分钟无需任何工具把ignitor换了
，炉子又好用了。终于不用寄回去修了。不知道为啥，在我们这边的REI找不到这东西。
Jetboil的group kit总的来说还是很推荐的，虽然我的那个刚一年用了不到10次
ignitor就坏了，不过既然有$10的组件自己修也就无妨了。烧水的速度和系统的重量，
尺寸和易用性确实不是盖的。当然了，俺没上过雪山，不好随便乱说。不过在12000 ft
的Rocky Mt NP大风中煮方便面还是不错的:) |
