就是铁铈棒，不怕被淋湿

这个弄不好应该是气船或者气床或者帐篷的修补配件，包括胶水，修补贴片等
如果没有这些东西一般不需要

这个应该是应急帐篷或者篷布，可以挡风遮雨，比一般帐篷简单的，甚至可以是自己搭
建的临时窝棚或者雪洞之类的

by the insurance company for my at-fault accident is less than $1000, no
point will be added and my premium won't increase at all. But if I have
another small accident, point might be added and so goes the premium.
So better ask your agent or even insurance company directly about their
policy. |

发帖数: 380 | 14 94的camry，平时开着虽然有些小问题，但整体还不错，但是最近出了个问题，停在红
绿灯会熄火，还有IDLE时候会熄火。还出现过2次，idle时候rmp会突然一下子增加到
2000多，但是还会自己回来。关键就是开着速度接近0时候太容易熄火。
小地方，送到第一个repair shop测试了下说要换distributor.说要好几百。后来换了
个以前去的店，价格比较合理，一周了说就是4次熄火，基本上他不还不在边上当时，
过去就错过测试时间了，终于一星期后说修好了，是condenser short了，换了，好了
，可以提车了。要了1个半小时LABOR（其实part非常便宜就几刀），说他测试了很长时
间还试开了很长时间，但走之前我想测试下，就start在idle状态，结果又熄火了，还
没出门呢，他就又拿出什么测了下，修车的人说非要等到完全打不着了，才能找出毛病
。也没说多长时间，大家说说这个可能是什么毛病？还有我应该怎么和这个老板说，觉
得他是在没能力找出来问题，自己又不承认。我也不想等了，觉得没谱，大家说能不能
说给他个最后期限，然后这个交的钱是否应该要回来一部分呢？非常谢谢！ |

今年真是不幸。
年初车被松鼠咬伤，修了 $2700
上个月车风挡被松果砸碎。托板上ilvch推荐的店，$120换好了。
今天下班有追尾了。我在101上，前面full size van突然停车，我就撞上去了。
结果这家伙逃走了。我pull over, 车已经很惨了。发现漏了液体，以为是coolant,就想着趁漏
光之
前开回家。也没报警。一路上发动机温度都正常。
到了local发现方向盘很难打。以为是哪里卡住了。到家之后发现有下面有油，以为是
engine破裂了。仔细看一下，好象是power steering fluid.所以方向盘很难打带觉得Power
steering fluid应该没那么多。事故现场的一大堆液体应该是别的。我猜是windshield
washer.。hood已经打不开了,没法check.

我从网上搜到的是这两个：Chilton, Haynes.我以前用的是Haynes。但是发现我要查怎
么捣鼓seat belt的时候，那上面就基本没有什么可以用的信息了。我没有用过Chilton。
所以想请问大家，您推荐哪个品牌的出版物？我希望书里面的信息越详细越好。我的车
子是通用出厂的。

loss and trade in the car. Any repair major or minor would cost you at least
$1K+. Really not worth of keeping it. |

回家就趴卧了。修了3周了，换了无数的配件，目前从不能启动倒能启动一小会儿，还
是不工作。据说要换整个油路。

My Passat was made in 2006, only about 26k miles on it -- I live in a small
town and drive very little. My biggest mistake is that I did not buy an
extended warranty for it.
About the repair, my airbag light was on. I am not a DIYer, so I went back
to the dealer. It turned out that some wire in the airbag system did not
work, so they only changed the wire.
It cost me $580!! Here is the good part: $48 for parts, $532 for labor!

bought around 2009 or 2010 and has similar mileage with your passat but the
engine has been repaired under warranty for TWICE. |

要拉到车铺详细估价。
如果报废，现有价值$17,000+税+其他费用。如果复原大概12，000。
保险公司自然选择后者。
我能肯定的是修完以后卖不出价，大不了多开几年直到差不多报废。
现在担心的是车铺技艺不精或者偷工减料，以后问题多多，修吧费时费力，
卖又卖不掉。
该如何选择呢？ |

light and couldn't start it afterwards. It seems to be cranking but no start
. I wonder if it's crankshaft position sensor or something.
Could anyone recommend a repair shop near palo alto for this german car? I
don't want to spend too much money on it...

amount. it's 3 years ago and i'm very satisfied with the new one.
btw, the crack on my windshield was about same length as yours. I bought
some repair kit from pepboys and stopped the growing of the crack. however
it couldn't pass the inspection. |

到了本地。
今天又碰到一个， 很明显， 在大华停车场兜圈子， checkout 车子。
这些人很明显 target. 老中， 我只在大华 和路上碰到过， Macy's 什么的从来没有 |

花。
geico网上有专门的glass claim表格，填了之后选择家最近的safelite，约了2个小时
之后的app。
本来选的是repair，可是到了之后工作人员说chip太大了要换一整块儿；当时没有库存
了，约了下周一的appointment。
周一换了，一个多小时搞定，还帮我把各种window sticker换到了新的玻璃上。
safelite说一年一两块儿windshield都不叫事儿，四五块儿geico才会不高兴。 |
