些病人的service，和保险没有区别。政府没有一个单独的line item给PP。别的很多
clinic也做同样的事情，也由联邦来reimbursement。大家是在竞争啊。

警察来了，看了一下，给report时，说他们帮我叫了拖车，而且强调不要叫其他拖车公
司了，说保险会cover的；然后这个公司最后托完问我要了300刀，说租车公司可以
reimbursement的；到了租车公司，那边说你怎么不用我们的road side service（我是
买了ldw 和rsn的）。现在给不给我reimbursement还要和manager商量。相当无语了，
到底是怎么整？ |

事件：飞起的小石子砸了 windshield 一个小坑
还车前跟American Express 要了一个 claim #，交给了店小二。Budget 向 AmEx 要钱：
1. 修玻璃的费用（$165)
2. administration charge ($25)
3. Loss of Use ($91，根据车在修车铺里呆的时间来算)
AmEx 的回复：

但这都是ford刚开始用CVT的时候，tech.业务不熟悉。而且你service之前就感觉有问
题（能具体描述一下是什么问题吗），所以应该不是service的问题。你的情况比较尴
尬，7年6万迈，可能车才值6000块，结果换个transmission就需要6000块。
我要是你，可能找个used transmission先换上，然后再把车trade in给dealer。直接
trade in恐怕价格太低，同时dealer捡个大便宜（他们找个used transmission换上很
便宜的。Freestyle论坛上已经有人报告dealer这么干了）。同时，保留收据，打ford
客服电话抱怨，再参加class action。没人知道将来这个事情的走向。前一阵子，我收
到ford的通知，说可以免费清理throttle一次（我的车没出现过信中描述的情况），如
果owner曾经自己花钱清理过，凭收据可以reimbursement。抱怨的人多了才会有用。

起来走人。
本来还有一个dealer给了22101的otd，但对颜色有点犹豫，过了一天就没车了。形势比
人强，趁着这个车颜色也合适就从了。再等些时候，如果还有剩车，也许会再便宜一点
，不过估计也很有限了。
至于这个warranty，我其实也也一直没有下定决心，只是因为当时加到package里比较
便宜，而且之后我也可以cancel，于是就加了。这两天还得再研究一下值不值。

列在这里。 有的保险公司这个是跟uninsured /underinsured bodily injury 是一个
package，有的保险公司还得分开买。如果没有这一项，被hit and run后保险不cover
你的车哟。
rental reimbursement是cover你的车在修理期间需要租车的费用，而且这个修理是指
保险能cover的修理。既然你的保险没有collision这一项，有的保险公司就不会让你买
rental reimbursement.
至于说你出行租车， 你的保险cover liability部分，但是没有 collision部分。 |

健康保险可以用，但是通常他们会要求REIMBURSEMENT，有些是DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR
REIMBURSEMENT REGARDLESS OF RECOVERY，用起来要小心，因为有可能你最后赔到手的
钱还不够付健康保险的那份
自己的PIP也有很多类别，有些是STRAIGHT MEDPAY, 有些是EXCESS MEDPAY,有些是
EXCESS MEDPAY WITH CO-INSURANCE,一句话讲不清楚，得看你保险条文
对方保险会赔，但很可能不足以补偿你真正的损失，尤其是很早就给你一个数字的，大
多是知道你这种的受伤可能性大，而且重伤的几率高，建议不要接受，尽早找律师。
你这种侧面被撞的，确实最容易有严重的脊椎伤，不信你可以去看看IIHS的资料，同样
速度，侧撞的死亡率是最高的。
律师费通常是CONTINGENCY FEE，也就是赔偿额定下来以后收PERCENTAGE，没有赔偿不
收钱。但是，律师也不是傻子，只要有人接那你的案子就一定是有钱赚的。可惜的是，

Subaru says if the settlement is given final approval by a judge, the
automaker will provide a free “oil consumption test” to affected owners,
in addition to extending the warranty to 8 years/100,000 miles.
Subaru owners will also be reimbursed for things associated with excessive
oil consumption, including receiving up to six quarts of oil. Other expenses
that will be reimbursed include the cost of repairs, including labor costs,

发帖数: 2609 | 50 Update:峰回路转！之前联系客服都是email，求了几次都是坚决的no。这次电话了一次
，结果人家确认了情况（让我读了coupon code)，同意给我reimburse。只要买完车，
email给他们sale receipt（同一个联系email)就好，他们会mail a rebate check ）
。原来的coupon也可以继续有效，还给朋友吧。
所以大家如果真的需要，可以考虑多打几次电话，把握起见可以弄个跟我一样的
loyalty coupon，但是感觉空手去要也是可能的。关键是真诚，因为那个客服问了我在
哪个dealer，什么时候取车，还有coupon code什么的，所以人家也不是乱发的。你们
可以主动offer可否买完车（Subaru赚到钱）后，再reimburse。这样人家至少觉得你没
诓他。事实上你真要买的话，买车时拿到还是后面拿到又有什么关系呢：）
