我把文章投给一个还可以的杂志
收到REFEREE REPORT, 建议REVISION 以后ACCEPT,
同时洋洋洒洒的写了6页的修改意见
我改后再投， 同一个REFEREE再次建议REVISION,
又写了4页的修改意见
我的文章不过20页
但是第二次EDITOR直接把我的文章给据了， 理由是要修改的地方太多。
我觉得有点莫名其妙， 再投别的杂志的话时间太长。
文章范围很窄， 熟悉的人比较少， 所以我希望第一个杂志把REFEREE的联系方式告诉
我，
这样我投第二个杂志就指定他做REFEREE, 但是第一个杂志绝不透露半点信息
不知道什么时候第二个杂志才能找到合适的REFEREE, 给我FEEDBACK， 而我很快需要
有新文章发表或接受
请问应该怎么样比较好 |

发帖数: 1604 | 7 refereed是referee的过去式和过去分词，referee做名词是指裁判，做动词是当裁判，
refereed publication和peer-reviewed publication是一个意思，经常换着用，就是
说你的publication经过中立的专业人士核定为符合期刊出版标准了。
referred publication应该是refereed publication的笔误吧，我猜。
但是conference publication有经过peer review的过程么？我在conference上只有过
poster，没有publication，没经验。 |

其次，这referee的回复不是明摆着么，还用问别人什么意思？
俺真搞不懂，都是出国读phd的人了，怎么还有这么弱的常识和理解能力
referee不愿意在这个情况下回复，你要是真的想请教，单独写一封
信说明点详细情况，然后referee会考虑单独回复你。不过editor完全
可以拒绝，因为杂志没有义务给你转信。 |

来了，可是奇怪的是编辑竟然给两个审稿人发送了query to referee，状态又变成with
referee了，有经验的前辈看看什么情况，以前从来没有碰到过这种状态.

其他的referee和AE都没说（一共三个referee），各位大牛我该删吗？我那个部分没有
理论支持我自己已经
明白的写在文章里面的，但是有simulation的支持。不是对错的根本性问题。
我准备在审稿回复里说如果所有的referee都同意我就删，这样可以吗？（因为别的人
没说，说不定是别的人喜欢这部分呢。） |

appeal reviewer的意思是，被editor拒掉的稿子，作者不服气，向editor申诉，那么
editor就发给我评判给出判决。
adjudicative referee的意思是，已经有两个审稿意见，但遇见相反，editor找我来给
仲裁。
我的问题是，如何用英文吹嘘这两种审稿人比 普通的审稿人 强、牛？
比如：
compared with the expert reviewer, appeal reviewer/adjudicative referee 牛牛
牛。
appeal reviewer/adjudicative referee is only selected from xxxxxxx.

Why are you picked as a referee?
Why do you want to recommend to accept or reject a paper?
Are the referee reports you got good quality?
For my personal experience, I just refereed an article. The editor asked me to
do that as he knows me personally. I recommended the paper to be rejected as
the contribution of that paper is not significant. |

let lz know that he or she reviewed lz's paper before (it is not
uncommon referee know the author of the paper he or she reviewed),
at that moment, lz know who referred his paper in a legal way
and at that moment if the referee is not reviewing lz's other paper
lz can ask the referee those questions regarding his career choice
or whatever. |

from referee's comment on the work usually it is very easy for lz to know
who is the referee even though nobody tells him. But as long as that "

the same thing. In The Oxford English Dictionary, "peer review"
is defined as the process by which a learned journal passes
a paper received for publication to outside experts for
their comments on its suitability and worth; refereeing.
While "referred" comes from "refer" which means to direct to a source
for help or information. |

recommendation for acceptance/revision/rejection be completely based on how
the authors have responded to MY comments on the initial submission? I ask
this question because the authors have done a good job in dealing with my
concerns (so if this is the only thing I should care, I would recommend

suggestions in the letter to the editor to help the authors address the
editor and/or the other referee's questions. I would be very careful in
disputing the other referee's questions. Be nice and be clear about your
points. It is the editor's call if he/she wants to take your arguments and
if he/she wants to forward your suggestions to the authors. In my opion, you

nonrelated question when referee is reviewing, you can when he or she is not
in the procee of reviewing lz's paper. It is you that bring up new question
that why there is a legal process to ask the referee when the referee is
not reviewing and I answered you that there is. |

It belongs to normal condition becasue as I said even though
nobody tells you who is the referee,from the referee's comment it
is not uncommon that you can tell who he or she is. You can still ask
him or her advising questions when the reviewing process finishes.

其实也没啥，原来也有这种情况，但不多。
不过这个文章在我的修改意见后确实有obvious improvement。
能不能在下一意见的时候提出让作者acknowledge referee？有没有这么做的？
editor不会对我有意见吧？
referee的劳动虽然是尽责任尽义务，但也付出了时间精力，难道不该acknowledge?

给好文章审稿，很舒服。但是有一些投稿的文章，逻辑思维混乱，写得也是杂乱无章，
很明显就应该拒，但是如果要仔细评论一一指出人家错在哪里，那首先要把作者自己混
乱的逻辑与写作理清楚，然后才能清楚地给人家深入浅出讲道理，而这个是极其花费时
间精力的---作者自己都没搞清楚，我们却要试图从人家的角度把人家的思维一一串起
来。这时候大家怎么做呢？随便写两句，反正也是拒，还是花时间细细评论？有没有标
准referee report? 谢谢。

faculty position applications, I wonder how I should ask my referees to send
the letters to the schools that I am interested in? Should I ask a signed

该做的就是直接在你那小段后面, 加上一些话, 说几句"没有理论justification",
