哎，这两天吃上稍微放松了些，刚才跑完，马上去游泳了一小时，现在回来了。
算是为了这个race准备了一些时间，不过由于是在上个周末才看到course map的，所以
做找感觉还
是在Spring Break之前的这个星期。
简单说说准备吧：每天跑double甚至triple,找race pace的感觉，试了很多pace,5：40

found on the local club's website that several members will attend the race,
and do some longrun before and after the race in that area so I decided to
go.
The race started at 9am, and they planned to have a 6 mile run from 7:50.

Birch Bay is a small retirement town located at the US-Canada boarder on the
Pacific coast. Vancouver is on the north side of the bay. Victoria, the
capitol of BC, is on the southwest across the bay and small islands.
The race is a low profile local one, limited to 450 runners including 1/2

FIS就是符合国际雪联标准的比赛板，不是运动员出生很

过于兴奋，或者最近的忙碌生活让我一直无法连续睡超过6个小时。不过早点醒来也好
，可以早点吃饭，顺便整理东西，比赛之后需要立刻回到家里清理房间搬出这个
apartment，下午就出差去了。Facebook上看到road race 更新了今天的天气，73F，73
％的湿度。
吃了一个半bagel，喝了两杯橙汁，还有水。8：30我就出门跑向起点，3.5迈的热身应
该足够了。作为local的好处就是如此，熟门熟路，不用担心traffic以及停车存包等等
事宜。在bike path上快跑到起点的时候，看到了一群elite男女选手集体热身而来。知
道冠军肯定会在他们当中产生，只是同样的黑肤色让我很难分辨出来这些年轻的面孔。
还看到了昨天跑mile的elite，还和一个美女聊了几句。昨天mile跑了3：54：89的
Jordan McNamara也来了，穿着同样的绿背心。看到很多非常hot的女高中生，腿巨细。
和一个朋友聊了一会，我就主动站到了red wave的最后。这个7迈的road race有10,000

发帖数: 339 | 45 背景：中年大叔一个。过去十年左右体重一直在19x－200左右。BMI大概26-27.
基础：以前出国考GRE的时候跑了一段时间步，2003在美国读研的时候跑过一段时间
5000米，但是都是坚持了大概2－3个月。
先说说成绩：今年三月开始跑的，圣诞前(12/22)参加了本地的Double Road Race(先跑
10k，休息15－30分钟，然后再跑5k), 10k成绩是48:50 (7:52min/miles), 5k成绩是23
:10 (7:44min/miles). 和各位跑步的牛人，我的成绩当然是不值一提，但是对于我来
说确是很满意。赛前自己平时跑，5k大概是25:00, 10k最快是54:00, 所以我预计比赛
10k能到52分钟就很满意，50分钟之内就算突破了。结果最后是48分多。

，从十几岁开始跑步，到今年一共跑了51年。他去年刚完成他的50 races in a year

发帖数: 606 | 46 刚从skip barber 3-day racing school回来，趁着还有印象，简单写一下自己的感受
和3天的安排，希望能对它感兴趣的人做个参考。
Track - Lime Rock Park
Car - MX5 （车是由pro race driver调的，instructor说悬挂设置大概是前toe out 1
/16，camber 1.75，后toe 0. 偏loose的调教，跟我350Z原厂悬挂比那简直是相当
predictable）
Instructor/students人数 - 3/13
MX5和方程式赛车一起，分两组。每组又分为两小组，所以一共是4组交替跑。
Day 1
上午-基础知识介绍。autox（熟悉车）
下午-跟趾将挡练习（在uphill和west bend之间绕圈练习）。3/4个车跟instructor的
车跑圈（学习线路，练习降档，instructor会不断提速）
Day 2
上午-Rain line和flag介绍。stop box练习（每开一圈停在发车点，instructor会在不
